I think are correct, but wouldn’t that only be if they used the exact same sample set, questions, etc.? From the context, I thought they were comparing two completely separate surveys. I could be wrong though. It sure doesn’t seem to me, anecdotally, that people are less tolerant of LGBT people or issues. Even in

A 3 or 4 percent variation in poll numbers isn’t much evidence. That is easily explained by a polling margin of error. This seems like much ado about nothing.

You guys covered this already back in the day.

I guess that depends on your budget and priorities. Nothing beats OLED for picture quality. It is absolutely stunning. However, as you said it demands a gigantic premium. I’d say that a nice local dimming HDR TV with wide color gamut is probably 85+ percent as good a picture as OLED and 1/2 to 1/4 of the cost

That was supposed to be $600 or $100 more. My brain short circuited typing.

If you could score one for $500 I wouldn’t hesitate. I paid $100 for the Best Buy version and don’t regret it. The only difference in the Best Buy version (607 vs 605) is that theirs doesn’t come with the fancy voice remote. I used Harmonys sonit was just going in a drawer anyway so not worth the extra $50.

It has very slight blooming when using local dimming. It’s certainly not a deal breaker and many TVs that are more expensive haven’t quite perfected loca dimming. The viewing angles aren’t great but not a problem for me as this is a bedroom tv mounted directly in front of the bed. Other than that, it’s a beautiful

The P605/607 models should be going on sale too. I’d hold out for one of those. For about $600 you get a 55" 4k set with local dimming, HDR 10, and Dolby Vision. I shopped around for quite a while looking for anything close in that price range and TCL is the only one to offer it. It’s a great set, and I liked the fact

I agree that the retail industry is floundering, but that was going to happen regardless of whether Trump, Clinton, or Sanders was elected. Many retailers have been struggling for years and failing to update their business models to compete with online sales. Trump may be an idiot, but there isn’t much he can do to

The same thing was said when the Japanese were buying a lot of real estate in the U.S. It’s as ludicrous now as it was then. People were convinced during the 1980's that Japan was going to take over the United States by buying real estate and corporate assets. That lasted about a decade and then the Japanese sold it

The issue I have with Mo’Nique is that she is calling for a boycott claiming racism and sexism by giving examples of Netflix paying women and POC a lot of money. That seems like a dumb argument. “Hey, these people are biased. Just look at all the money they threw at a woman and a couple of African American men.”

I love how the URL is truncated in my browser:

I thought this was going to be about people vandalizing or attempting to steal cars and wondered why that would be news.

Sorry. That never got relevant.

I hope you recover quickly from your stroke. Get well soon.

No, just pointing out the irony of calling someone an idiot when you yourself don't know the difference between "your" and "you're". I guess the world needs ditch diggers too. Carry on.

"Your" an idiot? Are you familiar with irony?

While "looses his temper" could be technically correct, I don't think that you meant it that way.

Looks like just you. Grats.

This should cover everything you could possibly want to know. It's a little speculative as to the circumstances of its founding but interesting nonetheless.
