i thought the same thing, P3 xc70

who’s the badass getting a speeding ticket in a bog-standard v70? Well done. Laseradar is immune to the charms of the sleeper wagon.

Yes! I saw this as a kid at a friends house (he had cable) in the early 90's, thought it was amazing and checked the scrolling tv schedule to see when it was on next, then tried to tell others about how great it was.

Great Escrat GT! i had the Lynx XR3, its Mercury cousin. 1.9 EFI HO, baby! would squeal the tire(s) through 2nd, chirp ‘em in 3rd. Surprise 4cyl/fwd fun in an era of automotive woe. I also had a fox body Capri, the Lynx could keep up with it

Robert DIY. P80 Volvo types, you already know. Great info to help save money on the job and the tips/tricks that come with experience

my old ‘01 v70 daily is sounding like a safer vehicle bet as time and tech progresses, coupled with automakers not staying out ahead of security weaknesses on the major purchase item ($ req’d for cars these days!) that they manufactured and that people rely upon to go to work, support the economy, etc.

wow! way better! almost, dare i say it...volvo’s rebel blue, the best hi-viz blue out there

no, different engine, the yami in the vo-vo was a 4.4. it was then used a badass yami boat motor after the volvo run

With any luck, they’ll either catalyze in hell or be reinCARnated, perhaps as a non-profit’s work truck

how tinny/loud is it? did the engine leave a puddle of oil when parked or did a head gasket fail, this here, Year 137 of our autolord?

i think they are technically “feelers” for when maneuvering your truck in tight spaces, the points will send feedback through the steering without messing up your lugnuts or wheels on a concrete wall. but yeah, they look ridiculous
