I didn't buy this yet, but I will once exams are over, plus it's DRM free on GOG. my mission is to purchase everything in their catalogue. Too bad it's all just speculation and we'll never get anything concrete when it comes to piracy numbers. So here's my guestimate.

Do as I do, just get it when it's dirt cheap. I don't like rewarding companies for including DRM, especially when it's more than necessary. (it was cracked before release day)

The cracked copy also has Uplay, you have to block it in your firewall. It wasn't the DRM man, the game is buggy.

You can't play online with pirated PC games either so you are sacrificing online play on PC too and an RGH chip with soldering for the Xbox costs about 90 bucks. That's the price of two-three games, which you "recuperate" after you have downloaded 3 games.

If you only have a PC and if you pay for the game and than download the cracked version, it still counts as piracy. If I pay it, I want to have the right to download a pirated copy which strips the sometimes obnoxious DRM from the game. Always online DRM is a pretty good argument for me in this case.
