damn you first-worlders always showing-off

It looks like a dodgy Fortnite skin circa 2006-2007. I’m not someone who’s graphics obsessed but wow does it look cheap and tacky.
I thought it looked...fine? Not particularly exciting or compelling.
i think it looks clean and sharp but visually halo has has so many games at this point i’m having a hard time looking at it from an artistic perspective because the visuals are so locked in at this point. It’s kinda like comparing racing sims and i can say that this is one of the best looking halo games in the same…
I think it looks okay, nothing that really blew me away.
Honestly I haven’t cared about Halo since Reach. And this trailer? Still kind of underwhelming.
It was a very valid question. If you knew anything about AAA development you’d know the changes made in the last months of dev are usually downgrades in quality to optimize performance. There is no way they will rework all the textures and redo geometry on such a big scale.
I know it’s not directed at me but that was a pretty erratic response to a valid question.
5 months to go and they are not updating graphics or gameplay. They are crunching for launch. Calm your tits, our dislike isn’t going to make the game worse for you.
It’s definitely 100% current gen, people who are saying it looks like a 360 game clearly don’t remember what 360 games actually look like lol I think it looks quite lovely.
Woah, chill you little twerp.
Yeah I’m so used to how amazing Destiny is in terms of audio/visual feedback, this was just “pop pop pop” and the enemies hardly react to the shots. That stuff is so vitally important for making an FPS feel good.
10 years ago I would have been chuffed as all get out to see this. Hell, even 5 years ago it might’ve done something for me. But now? There’s nothing here that any number of other game franchises aren’t either doing or doing better. 343 Industries has truly run Halo into the dirt.
I think the visuals look totally fine. For a current gen game.
If they can do something genuinely innovative & exciting with the open world design, then I’m okay with the “2001, but elevated” vibe of the gunplay- because for many, Halo is sort of a genre unto itself within the shooter landscape. The grappling hook is a nice nod to the Supersuit aspect of Master Chief without…
Huge Halo fan, and this just does nothing for me. I want to be excited, but after Halo 5 and this I just can’t muster it. Maybe as they show us more I’ll get more excited but this just looks kind of boring.
If you told me that footage was from an xbox 360 halo game I would have believed you, and then yawned.
Lately, I’ve just not been giving any F’s to difficulty settings. I just set them to Easy, so I can actually enjoy the game without getting hung up on dying. If a game ends up being entertaining enough, then I’ll usually make a second run with the difficulty turned up. With the scope and attention that these kinds of…
Oh sure, FOMO in live games has really burned me out. I try to ignore it when I can, but with it becoming more and more gameplay/event related as well as cosmetics and the like, gaming is clearly leaning on the compulsory need more than ever.
For open world games, I can say from experience that the Ubisoft model is…
“Another open world game” has been my problem this generation. With more and more games coming out all the time, it’s become more of a problem picking out what games to play and when. This generation has been rife with open worlds and live games that are only getting bigger and demanding more and more of our time.
