I’m not saying the entire crux of the article is wrong, but to say that cops are unimpeachable and make no mistakes is incongruous with the first mission of the game, where a group of corrupt officer attack Spider-Man.

Damnit. I read the description of the steps to get this gun and was ready to skip it entirely (I hate PvP and generally ignore it completely).
I started the campaign about 8pm, had to stop at 4am to sleep. Woke up next day to play two more hours to finish the campaign.
And then I hadn’t even unlocked the last zone with MORE quests to do it in.
I also have barely started the gear grind, Nightfalls are much more challenging, there’s a new horde mode style…
The story missions don’t take very long. The ancillary stuff (what’s going to keep people coming back) is plentiful. There’s a lot of game to play.
Say what you want about destiny, but to call a game that average players put hundreds of hours into half assed isn’t genuine.
I mean, 6-7 hour campaign for a shooter. Most of the hardcore played all day yesterday and that’s about how long it took me to finish the main story.
I bought Destiny 2 at launch and... enjoyed it immensely. It runs fantastic on my PC, looks great, plays so much better than D1 did on console and every expansion made it even better.
I do not PvP though, I like the lore and the story.
So many salty people on Kotaku talking down on Destiny. Meh. I’m excited for Forsaken, but I too didn’t like how it launched. Got my money’s worth so it’s not a loss for me.
And this is why these changes are actually bad.
The story was forgettable and dull. The expansion was pretty awesome. They fixed a lot wrong with the game and provided the first in a series of steps that have led up to the game looking like it’s returning to form. I have no complaints. Now, Curse of Osiris was fucking terrible.
And it’s just so terrible that you just had to spend all your free time, just waiting for a Destiny article to talk shit about it like such a cool little boy. How about you let others enjoy what they want and get your pretentious ass out of the comment section.
They’ve made a lot of good improvements over the last few months with D2, especially with patch 2.00 they just released on Tuesday. I’m not telling you to just blindly buy the expansion, but you should at least check out their most recent update which was free and affects all D2 players regardless if they own…
As a fellow Destiny aficionado, this is the best description I’ve seen in years. See you star side, my friend.
All you need to know before playing Forsaken: Destiny is a fantastic game developed and updated by a group of people who do not seem to understand why people like it, who keep changing things for the worse or breaking things for the better, and who will inevitably fall on their faces while simultaneously lodging their…
“failed to provide a safe and secure environment” for the participants, among other complaints.
Somebody’s always gotta try to profit from a tragedy.
Warmind was a far better expansion than CoO. I just recently finished a decent chunk of it and the hidden Whisper of the Worm quest line has been good.
I was a day 1 player and took March off to play some Warframe but I’ve more or less been back on D2 pretty regularly to grind out my collections. I’m ok with the…
Remember folks, Destiny is the game where all the people in the comments saying they’ll never play again because the game is trash are playing RIGHT NOW.
Guns have not been banned for a few years now in Chicago, in fact I hold a conceal and carry license I brought two years ago. At one time they were banned but that didn’t do jack shit to quell the violence. Our problem here isn’t the guns its the two large fucking gangs that are responsible for all the violence in the…
Phantasy Star Online. So, clearly the best console.
