The gameplay for me is almost perfect, but Gearbox can’t make an intuitive UI to save their lives. And the writing is just way too try hard. Some of the quest givers spew joke after joke for two minutes straight, just hoping ANYTHING will stick. It’s so obnoxious.

I generally prefer female protagonists and relate to them better.

Honestly, outside the world visuals, it doesn’t look that interesting. The environment seems very static, the protag still seems very bland, and the platforming very basic.
