From a business standpoint, it makes no sense not to. They are EASILY going to make a profit on any figures they make, even if they were over $200 a pop. Depends on who they go to for production, but Blizzard can technically call their own shots given their star power and the power/fandom of this game. I’m not even a

Hah. My not-so-friend, you’re about to be obliterated by a rank 5 Disciple, point blank. Luckily I wield one from previous games, so it probably packs a large punch than one of the relics collecting dust on the 600 year journey through dark space.

Large ME fan since the start, and someone who played through each of the original trilogy titles numerous times. ME holds a soft-spot for me because it’s sci-fi RPG in an interesting, fresh world, with shooteresque mechanics. ME:A was one of the few titles I’ve been waiting for ... and I don’t really game much like I

Guys, you’re both saying the same thing, ultimately. Look, the game isn’t awful in terms of content and what is there. But I don’t know if “good” is the correct term. The game is a recycle of a ME1 and ME2 hybrid, which is not good given we are in 2017 and not 2009.

The funny part is, some of these “Ryders” look as good as some NPCs in the actual game. Neon green and yellow matte blobbed hair? I see that everywhere I go ... in the Nexus or on planets. Hell, just look at Suvi or whatever your god-faring co-pilot’s name is. Is she an Irish Clown?

>>...and in other news, the developers of Guerrilla Games sat around in their office laughing at how awful Mass Effect: Andromeda looked.<< “Maybe we can sell EA and BioWare Montreal our technology,” one developer was quoted saying. “Hell! We can just contract our services over to the neophytes!” said another.

It is a bad game from the concept that a AAA publisher with a beloved franchise put out alpha-level release.

I’ve been defending ME:A with optimism (not my strong suit) believing that this would be a strengthening of the ME:3 formula, just as ME3 was over ME2, and ME2 over ME1.

I agree with you here. I know Bioware doesn’t know how to animate that well. It’s a known fact 15 years running now. ME1-3 all had hilarious scenarios where characters would look in odd directions, or their head literally spins. I know that walking it. All of that aside, none o fit took away from me heavily enjoying

One Kotaku person loves it. Another is looking through jaded lenses. Make up your mind and post a universal article. You are an entity - an organization. You need to have a clear, universal stance on a game as a website. It’s like the NY Times having 4 writers each write an opinion piece about a the first few hours of

Game looks fine. Many of you are just culture-minded drones that buy into whatever the culture shift is, at the given-moment especially.

Dubbing Anime has no native language. I don’t understand people’s misconception with this.

It took me a few hours (out of the starting area) to really start enjoying Horizon for what it is. Initially, I was not certain. But as time rolls on and you encounter larger and more numerous enemies (And when your arsenal grows) combat really starts to open up. You can have large battles with foes for 10+ minutes.

Disliking a franchise or subsequent games in a franchise because of a 20 minute ending to a game series with a ridiculous plot premise from GAME #1 are silly. Get over it.

All I needed to see to verify I’d actually purchase this game: 60 hours to beat.

Well, I think everyone would expect them to emulate the original movie first and foremost. Why? Not sure. I didn’t think the story was ever mind blowing, even in the 90's. Many of the concepts were cool, but not so much the actual story, start to finish. I thought the series as a whole was really defined in the SAC

I agree. I mean, what is Motoko’s default version, anyway? She has none.

In the animated series (SAC and 2nd Gig, which I believe are Motoko’s BEST iterations by a long shot) she shows emotion often. She has a quasi-playful personality at times, but namely, she gets PISSED when she is bested or is uncertain as to what is going on. When the laughing man virus hacks all the randoms early in

This has been going on forever. Personally, I have not stepped foot into a Gamestop for well over 11-12 years now. Somehow, I have not missed out on getting any game I have ever needed as soon as I could.

All this aside, Tifa better still have herself a big, bulging pair of 2017 Titharts, otherwise this game is worthless.
