Another thought I just had: Despite media portrayals to the contrary, 99 out of 100 “this person started a company at age 22 and is now buying Caribbean islands for his pets” stories always include a line like “he started with nothing other than a $2m loan from his parents and free access to all their high-powered

And Ross “Roll-a-Big-Fatty” was a national treasure in Canada for his 15 minutes of fame.  It’s uneven and stupid.

He cannot be convicted fast enough to then die in jail, never having freedom again. Fuck that predator ass fucker. Die a heinous death sir. Preferably slowly and painfully

I love Levar, he just wasn’t that good.  Robin Roberts was good, Mayim Bialek was good and so was Sanjay Gupta.  Mike is problematic though, so....

When FF played my town in 2019 they rented bikes from a local bike shop, and split up to individually ride around stopping to hang at small local businesses, send out tweets and IG to boost the profile of those mom and pops, and after they played the arena, went to a local dive bar that does small metal and punk

Him, Willie Nelson, Snoop, and Tony Hawk, man, that’s gotta be the CHILLEST group of all time

Good guy that no one has a bad word to say

I went to a Foo Fighters concert several years ago (the summer he performed from the guitar throne because he broke his leg crowd surfing at the beginning of the tour) where one of the stories he told involved the a time they opened for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and how awesome that was. He finished the story with

I can confirm he his.

I like him—cuteness aside, he always seems down to Earth and ... like he still knows how to be regular and enjoy it. Like ... someone you could chill with and eat cheap, greasy pizza on a Tuesday, even now. And he’d be the same guy he was when he was just some “basic drummer,” with a struggling band and a day-job.

Are you paying money for a random chance at getting something you want? That’s a lootbox, end of story.

Was only being partly facetious, but I did not know that.   Thanks.

My adopted father, a Bahamian-American man, fashioned himself some kind of black cowboy, and loved all things country and western. Musically, this was his guy.

When someone says their pronouns are “he/him”, that means to use male pronouns (“he made himself a sandwich”). If they say “they/them”, that means to use gender-neutral pronouns (“they made themself a sandwich”). There are other gender-neutral pronouns (zhe, zher, etc), but “they” is the most common one. I don’t know

We need to find some way to eliminate “I’m just asking questions” from the discourse. It’s not because asking questions is bad - it’s good. The issue is that “just asking questions” doesn’t really do any good if you can’t understand the answers.

Yes, this is an after-bedtime, room service breakfast, or post-museum/pre-dinner thing. It’s why they put TVs (with free HBO!) in hotel rooms in the first place. Don’t act like it’s some foreign concept.

she’s never had to answer questions about some dumb shit her boss said.

Trespasser (that awful FPS Jurassic Park game) had what I’ll jokingly call an “innovative” way of getting the main character’s boobs on screen.

I know. Booker T & The MG’s are the baddest backing band of all time. Oh please don’t forget Lou Marini on Sax. The baddest white boy to play Sax since The Stones had Bobby Keys

Agreed. That oversight was offal.
