I thought Grint showed he was the best of the young cast when they actually gave him something to do, like in Half Blood Prince and the two Deathly Hallows. With Radliffe and especially Watson, it always felt like I was watching them act, their performances never felt natural.  

It wasn`t manufactured, it was the same in the books.  And he was gone for about 15 minutes.
