they're doubling down on the whole race/class warfare system. I thought the whole reason gawker existed was for people to display their white guilt and PC enlightenment....I don't get why it has to bleed over to a sports site.

But that's not what you said, I was responding directly to your challenge that, and I quote:
I like how in admitting you are wrong you are still trying to sound like you are right.
Because only people demanding he be banned from the NFL counts as "going through" something.
Aaand you're a child. NEXT!!
"SEAN R"....adding in-depth thought and thorough conversatiom pieces to the internet since....
No, fuck you.
You know, it's possible to simultaneously loathe Riley Cooper while also acknowledging that he's "gone through" something. The only asshole here is the one cursing out the people who aren't snap-regurgitating the Deadspin premise.
Cooper got absolutely destroyed by the media after that incident. It was literally the top story on ESPN for several days. So yeah, he did go through some shit. Foles pointing that out doesn't necessarily imply that he thinks it wasn't deserved.
"King, though, chose the bizarre route of defending Cooper from a non-existent group of people who want him dead, or at least exiled from professional football, for what he did."
I find it interesting Deadspin writers' selective ability to understand rhetoric and simultaneously analyze it as delivered in tweets.
"This shit isn't two-dimensional."
You didn't say how many dimensions it IS, though, Teacher.
Early November is always the worst time of year because it's when you find out that Peter King didn't twist his ankle and asphyxiate on cow shit in a corn maze somewhere.
I see that Peter King chose a Twitter avatar that is more capable of nuanced analyses of sports issues than he is.
He's been through the media and much of the public hating him for making a mistake. Yeah, he caused it, and it's his fault. But I wouldn't wish the sort of bullshit that he's had to deal with in the time since it happened on anyone either.
pfff... as if you BUY consonants
Spoilers: Hockey is a popular sport.
If you don't like it, go watch the Lebron/Kobe jerkathon in the NBA.
So if a jurist passes a favorable ruling then they're just honest by the book judges but an unfavorable ruling and they're an evil conservative. Gotcha.
Did you really just use the equivalent of the "I'm not racist, I have a black friend" defense?
Only one way to recover from this, you have to own it... "CORN? When was the last time I ate CORN???"
