It was the first time I logged on to Kotaku since I commented, and saw the notifications. In fact, I’d completely forgot about your sad little screed until today! It took a whole 30 seconds to respond. *Super* taxing. You’re right, though, I’ll stop feeding your ego by letting you think this embarrassing masturbatory

The ties go even deeper than that! MLB Network is using Imagine Dragons’ “Believer” for their WBC hype music, basically right down to the same bar as the Switch/Breath of the Wild spots that Nintendo started running around the Super Bowl.

Frankly, you’re not worth the energy of respectful discourse. You get out what you put in, so don’t be surprised when people dismiss you out of hand.

Seriously though, delete your account. Go back to the kids table.

Eh, if you watch a fair bit of Game Grumps, there are times where Arin gets past the rage persona and the poop jokes and there’s actually a pretty thoughtful guy underneath who invests a fair bit of energy in charitable works and helping others. I definitely do not agree with him on everything – maybe even most things

Obviously the debate thing has accelerated the conversation and scrutiny, but anybody who followed him on Twitter had to have been aware he was like this. I unfollowed and unsubbed a few months back because I gave up hoping he’d find some perspective.

I can only speak to my own experience, but according to UPS my console is out for delivery at this point, so I’m just sitting on my hands until it arrives. I was definitely starting to get concerned this week though, as the console didn’t even ship until last night at 7 PM. Seemed like a weirdly aggressive delivery

This is not a nanny state problem, this is a NIMBY problem.

Now playing

Motoi Sakuraba is the best JRPG composer that nobody talks about. Shining Force III, the Golden Sun franchise, the Valkyrie Profile franchise, the Star Ocean franchise, the Tales franchise, (some of) the Dark Souls franchise. He even did the keyboards for Bravely Default! So, I’m leaving this for y’all in the greys.

I pre-ordered a standard (non-watch edition) on Amazon as recently as last Friday. Yesterday, around the time that they were “hoping to have a statement from Amazon,” I got an email Amazon saying that my delivery window was July 20th-27th. Then, late last night, the estimate delivery date was bumped up to July 5th.

Thanks for the explanation, I hadn’t heard that. Mine is just a standard edition pre-order, I was waaaaaaay too late to get a bracelet edition, but it sounds like that’s an Amazon-specific issue per @Aksys_Danny. Allegedly they HAVE the games but haven’t shipped them for some reason. Pending further updates. So I

I too have gotten no indication of my pre-order shipping any time ever. >:(

I pre-ordered it for 3DS on Amazon and it hasn’t even shipped yet, I’m afraid I’ve made a horrible mistake and will have to go hunting for it in vain at the local Best Buy instead (their games section is awful). I NEED TO MAKE A JUMP

You’re begging for a version of San Francisco that doesn’t exist in 2016 thanks to the second tech bubble. The crack heads in the mission have been replaced by Google buses. The city’s biggest problems are most homelessness, and preventing outright class warfare. That’s part of what makes it a GOOD setting for a game

The fact that this tantrum is the most-starred reply by non-staff on the article is a sadder reflection on the state of the community than anything to do with pre-orders. I guess it’s just a good thing you spent your energy complaining rather than putting any real oomph behind this passive aggressive consumer hashtag

A little of column A, a little of column B. Most of the A’s fans I know are extremely passionate and loyal (for better or for worse), but there’s only so many, and the team’s been bad for a couple of years now with the ever-looming specter of Lew Wolff’s cheap, useless ass further tempering expectations.

Nice reporting, Jason! Now go sit in the corner; Ubi says you’re on time out.

As is usually the case with a Bethesda game, the menus are kind of a mess but I’ve learned to live with them more or less peacefully. EXCEPT. Right now I’m using a Chameleon chest peace that provides me with a cloaking effect while I’m in stealth mode and still. Let’s say I loot a piece of paper with some info on it

It’s been a solid decade for JRPGs so far, don’t get me wrong. Other contenders for Best of the Decade include Ni no Kuni, Bravely Default, Radiant Historia, andThe Last Story. Trails in the Sky beats them all.
