I used to be an opinion-haver like you, but then I took an- aw forget it.

Man, when they find out that their password’s been plastered all over the internet, that hand is gonna be pissed.

Here, obtained by Kotaku, is an e-mail Bethesda sent out to press (not including Kotaku) today.

Do note that they obtained the email from an unnamed source, so presumably they don’t have a review copy pinned under said embargo.

The at-launch DLC for Syndicate was all on-disc. Runaway Train, Dreadful Crimes, Dickens and Darwin, etc. etc. etc. ... all 12 MB downloads.

Also, early on you get a brief introduction to Ned, who then gets plopped in the middle of the train station in Southwark, a “Level 5” district, with a mission icon. It’s not actually a mission, it just unlocks a bunch of side activities. So get over there early and talk to him; don’t wait until the middle of Sequence

My advice: Buy the maps for each district’s treasure chests as you level up and expand your hold on the city, but DON’T buy the maps for things like pressed flowers and beers, at least not initially. This will help the map feel a little less cluttered, and I’ve had a lot of fun just discovering the bonus collectibles

Pre-re-re-release! (And all of the guns have been replaced by walkie talkies.)

This explainer is cool and good. My buddy and I have been debating the relative merits of recruiting for a third for local co-op, trying to get by with download play, etc. This covers just about any questions I would have.

If this is how you get your jollies, AND you use the term “SJW” unironically, I’ve got nothing but pity for you, dude.

Given that several people took the comment as sincere, maybe your joke-telling just sucks.

Speaking of, you know who else has a “this is fiction” disclaimer before killing a bunch of people on your TV?

The “this is fiction” disclaimer at the start of AC games, movies, television shows, books, and everywhere else is about legal protections. They’re inoculating themselves against stupid lawsuits.

The “normal employees” – which, first of all, is kind of an insulting characterization to everyone who ISN’T a straight white cis Christian dude – are included in “multicutural.” That highly specific demographic probably comprises a majority of the team, and that fact that we don’t need to point out that they’re there

I heard both files were ~500 MB, and the first of the two patches was only for those who received the game early. If you step into a GameStop (or whatever) tomorrow and take a copy off the shelf, it’ll need one 500 MB patch. Which, by average AAA standards these days, is borderline tolerable!

If you want to give the franchise a test drive, I’d suggest starting with II, or IV: Black Flag. 2 is arguably the best in the series (and bundles of the Ezio trilogy are very cheap these days). But if you’re in more of a hurry to get up to speed for Syndicate, Black Flag might be better the place to start. The

I bought the NFC reader bundle and this was the single card inside. This is my first Amiibo of any kind. I’m simultaneously thrilled and terrified.
