Hey, it’s the old “outgrown such silly superstitions” trope. If anything, I think a human colony completely cut off from Earth’s cultures and history would be RIPE for developing brand-new belief systems and religions.

I enjoyed the concept of the short, but I wish it were something more than just a long exposition…
