Wait, Ashley, is this your “I have Italian friends” post to justify throwing “the f-word, no not that one, the other one” around willy-nilly?

Something something ethical consumption under capitalism, etc.
I think we can count on him for the racist, misogynistic, or totalitarian promises he makes. In those situations he’s as trustworthy as it gets.
Honestly, I love the game, but I really wish you could turn off or massively reduce the weapon breaking. I wind up carrying all these cool weapons that I’m terrified to actually use.
Eh, I’d say more likely death by chronic neglect. He’ll “all-lives-matter” his way through any issue that’s brought up, and never recognize that his worldview is still stuck sometime in the 1960's.
That does bring up an interesting question though. Does he still get Secret Service protection in prison? Do you think they have a provision for that? He would still be a former president, and former presidents get Secret Service protection for life, supposedly.
Yeah, these days I imagine there are people who’d have a tough time even reading cursive.
I’ve forgotten how to write in cursive. It was mandatory up until about middle school, but then you were allowed to print, which is what I do now. So now I can only write my name in cursive, the rest is gone. I do want to relearn that one someday.
Unless you consider that the “mistake” is writing with lazy or timid language. For instance, using cliches too often in your writing is a mistake, even if they aren’t technically erroneous in their specific context.
Okay, on the one hand, anyone who uses “plebian” in a conversational way is on the “most likely to ask to speak to someone’s manager on the way to the guillotine” list, and probably belongs there. On the other hand, there is value in actually knowing how to speak and read the language, because it allows for precision…
If someone says that, they’re a serial killer. Their victim is the English language.
Read the sentence he speaks to the muse in the top image. He sounds like someone who would visibly sneer if he heard someone use “ain’t” in a sentence.
Unfortunately, that’s like saying:
Single-issue voters are a big part of the problem. Evangelicals who will vote for anyone that’s anti-abortion, or gun nuts who will vote for whoever the NRA endorses, people like that are their own worst enemy. They’ll vote against their own interests as long as the candidate claims it’s the opposition that’s…
Former military here, neither a sociopath or an addict of any kind. I also know plenty of former military who don’t fit either of those labels. In my experience, the majority of people in the military were exactly the kind of people you’d hope to have in the service. The rest were people who were either: just skating…
I do wonder though if the cut Epic takes is really viable for them long term. Or are they using their Fortnite money the way tech disruptors use VC money. Sell your service at a loss until you have a strong enough foothold, then jack up the price when you’ve got people reliant on your ecosystem. Even if they only go…
Well, technically I think the center of the universe is a giant black hole that everything else spins around while trying to avoid being crushed into nothingness when caught in its grasp, so...
Reminds of the old Bill Hicks routine about Republicans, particularly Rush, as being “scat-munchers”.
If men could get pregnant, there’d be more abortion clinics than McDonald’s in this country.
For being a little fancy, I like the Code and Quill Compass notebook.
