I heard that same thing, and posted about it - it was a pretty innocuous comment. I noted that minority voters, women, LGBTQ, and so forth people are all “ordinary Americans,” last I checked, and that Bernie ought to figure that out and stop talking about fellow citizens as if we’re separate species.
