If you embrace the insanity and come with no preconceived notions of what Batman should be, this show is really enjoyable.

It is an amazing show, it’s entertaining as hell.

Like Legends of Tomorrow, you have to embrace the insanity. And Gotham is a visually beautiful show as well. Selina Kyle still can’t act though.

It’s not used to shame Terra at all. The point is to show that Slade is taking advantage of a mentally unstable teen for his own purposes - and the fact that she’s underage makes him even more of an evil bastard. It’s character-revealing for both of them.

Lindsey Morgan was on General Hospital and she was so bad in the part she was written off the show. I don’t watch The 100, so I have no idea how she is on there. Perhaps it was a case of her just being completely wrong for the part on GH.

Perhaps when this episode was shot, the goal was to convey a meta message about image perception by featuring an artist with his own terrible public persona. If so, that wasn’t clearly expressed.
