I agree that it is hard to know where a politician stands on things really just because of all the polling based decision making they tend to do so I will always give them credit for actual policy they enact.

All attempts by campaigning politicians to appear “hip and happening” are cringe inducing but at the very least they should be brief...doing a 4 minute stump speech in the middle of a Eric B concert shows an alarming lack of being able to read a room.
There were some high points (HH/Steph vs Rousey/Angle, AJ vs Shinsuke, Daniel/SHane vs Owens/Sami, Jax vs Bliss) but the majority of the show was either way too similar to the standard blah stuff that we get on Raw and Smackdown every week or just absolute dog shit (Cena/Undertaker, Brock/Roman, both world tag title…
It is easy to castigate Killer Mike by pointing and saying “he got owned,”on social media because he misunderstood a particular fact. His critics may seem like they are hating because they are quick to point out his mistake without acknowledging his larger point.
I knew Robert Johnson wasn’t shit when he sold BET to Viacom with no assurances that any of the news or public affairs programs would be allowed to stay on the air after the sale.
Someone seems truly bothered and it is making him aggressively assert his whiteness.
Glad someone else noticed. I thought it was just me and I was being overly critical
“I’m not inherently against the idea that you’re proposing!” he eventually said. “If there were some way to subsidize those who are of lesser means to still get guns or take classes. Don’t weaponize the cost [of licensure] to stop people from getting guns.”
“People can’t even have a conversation without hoping something horrible happens to your family, or you,” she added.
So at what point will white people look at these various slip-ups and gaffes and excuses about he “misspoke” and “what he really meant was” and all the other stuff surrounding Bernie and say “hey, maybe he has an issue speaking about race”.
But nobody in that room bought Aquaria’s tears as being genuine and she was clocked by all of them not just The Vixen as trying to emotionally manipulate the situation by falling back on the tears and creating the optics that the mean bully was making the poor little pretty girl cry.
But then it becomes a situation of who gets to say that someone’s reaction is blown out of proportion? The Vixen reacted the way she reacted. Some people go for the death blow as soon as the bell rings and if that is a type of conflict that you can’t handle then the best option for you is to refrain from coming for…
I loved Miz Cracker standing her ground. I also fully admit to the fact that both The Vixen and Aquaria come out of this looking a mess. My issue is with how Aquaria handled the situation and how The Vixen’s response to it is being seen as wrong.
Its not all bullshit though and you taking this “both sides” stance illustrates it fully. Aquaria came for The Vixen. That is an immutable fact of this episode of Drag Race and when The Vixen clapped back, Aquaria went into fragile shrinking violet mode to the point that she ran out of a room and then later started…
but her performance rises to a new level of brilliance when Mayhem points to Yuhua on the ground during the line, “Have you ever felt so used up as this?”
I don’t believe you. I’m sure you have used them several times yourself based on your stellar posting in this thread.
It was a whole thing right after Harris got good press for the way she questioned some of Trump’s appointments during their confirmation hearings. It made the bitter contingent of The Left come out in droves to attack Harris and every other black politician whose name was being tossed around as a possible POTUS…
but I also suspect they’d hesitate to try a show starring Alyssa in which she wasn’t always in drag
The amount of salt in the comments section has my blood pressure about to spike.
I don’t know what would satisfy these people other than Hillary disappearing into the ether. And I’m supposed to believe these same people are going to turn around and not find something to loathe about Kamala Harris or any other Democratic women?
