Being serious for just a moment: if someone dies in the middle of the night, wait until morning to call people. Unless it is imperative that they see the body right away, they can’t do anything about it, so you should get some rest. That goes for notifying medical/hospice personnel if the person died at home, unless

The real problem was dining out on Valentine’s Day and expecting anything but a rushed, cramped, harried experience.

I don’t know how prevalent those are any more, but where they do exist, they are almost always illegal:

When I first started writing on the internet (for the now-defunct xoJane) my comments sections and Twitter mentions

For the love of your children, and other children, adults, and anyone in-between that are unable to be vaccinated.

The guys who are fixated on making me squirt are not the same guys making me cum.

I see no distinction between letting an unvaccinated child, especially one with an active measles case, walk around...and smashing open a glass vial full of live measles virus in a populated area.

The way that I feel ... stigmatized or mansplained about my sexuality is in the fact that with the rise of squirting in porn now guys want to “make me squirt.” It’s all the rage the way anal was like 10 years ago. Except I don’t do it naturally so they think that because it is a question of arousal they, with their

It also helps to view different retirement funds for different parts of your golden years. Longevity runs in my family, so I need to plan for reaching the century mark. I won’t take SSI until age 70 to maximize those payments. I plan on using my IRA/401k savings to cover ages 59.5-70, with Roth IRA basis withdrawals

It really depends on how well you save up to that point. An aggressive saver who accumulates a healthy nest egg by the time they retire might be happiest with little to no risk assuming they built enough enough cash to last for a lengthy retirement.

Every time I’ve seen one of those on a baby I think the parents must be goddamned idiots.

I agree but rather than age I think the basis for percentages should be on what your financial goals are. I'd have different percentages if my goal was to buy a house in 5 years vs saving for retirement

This is really all the advice most of us need along with what percent to put in each as you age. The only thing I don’t really agree with when reading about the Boglehead philosophy are the percentages. At a younger age I think you should be more heavy in stocks but that’s just my opinion.

SHARPEN YOUR FUCKING KNIVES! I think that may be the biggest thing that make chopping onions go from an art to risky hacking and sawwing at a pungent stump. I always hit the sharpener before diving in. I probably need better knives.

Disagree on the horizontal cuts. Onions are already “cut” horizontally due to the fact they are layered. That’s the trickiest, and most dangerous cut as well.

I know what the word “leftover” means and I know what the word “Champagne means, but together, they dont make any sense.

TLDR. The real question is, did you run it on yourself?
