Yeah, the Gaz 24-24....take a normal Volga, shoehorn the 5.5litre V8 from the Cajka limousine with its 3-speed autobox and slightly beefed-up suspension in and enjoy the stopping power of the standard drum brakes.

I have a very weak spot for the GAZ 24. It’s not “the best” (the 21 is a massively better car), but I think the looks are adorable. They also made a small run with a V8, known as the KGB Interceptor. One of them was for sale on mobile.de recently for 15000€. Driver 24’s are often available for ~2000€ in Eastern Europe…

Can I suggest the Volga V12 hotrod by A:Level? The drivetrain and chassis is a BMW 850 CSi so there’s a 380hp V12 and manual transmission lurking under that modified 50s Soviet-designed body (which was modified a lot if you can’t notice).
