Honest question:  Can Louisville do better?  I know that people will quickly say yes but is that true?  I’m not stating a truth here.  I just honestly don’t know if Louisville can do better.  When I think of big time college football I do not think of Louisville.

I love that in the background there is a sign stating, “Do the right thing!”

I’m all for players making more and I know I’ll get blasted for stating this opinion but Bell should have played. He won’t change the system this way and their is no guarantee he’s landing a huge deal this coming offseason. He’s still relatively young so maybe a team comes forward and pays him long term but I question

I am happy for you that you had that experience but as a longtime fan of both drinking establishments and sports I have to say I rarely have enjoyed mixing the two.  Fans suck.  (Looks in mirror)  Yeah, fans suck.  Adding alcohol to fans does not make them better.  Staying home to watch sports is a pure joy and if I

Where does he land next season?  What team will give him a long term deal?  Honest question.  As a Bear’s fan I don’t see a need for the team I follow and at this point I only keep in touch with football a little bit so I don’t really know what other teams would be considering him.

I thought the saying was, “Because of drinking my liver has spots.”?

Cheese is awesome!  Good for her.  Anyone who can’t name at least ten kinds should be viewed suspiciously.  As for the state, as a former resident I have fond memories and it will always have a special place in my heart and liver.  The doctors can call them Wisconsin spots.  When you say Wisconsin!  You’ve said it

Where are the flags?!?  Nothing about these games should be entertaining.  This is serious business and these players are trying to make it fun.  I and others yearn for the days of acting like you’ve been there.  Sigh.

Somewhat unrelated but I wanted to give some recognition to Jacare Souza’s performance last night and how he turned to the referee and pleaded with him to step in. He knew he beat Weidman and wasn’t happy to have to pound him more. Don’t get me wrong, I know that being a referee is ridiculously hard and difficult and

I don’t understand the problem.  Both teams have to deal with it.  There once was a time where playing in the elements was an appealing aspect of football.  I get that it leads to a certain type of play but it shouldn’t benefit one side more than another.

Something I’ve discovered on these sites is that many of my fellow leftists are quick to attack but offer zero actual solutions. Your comment is spot on. We need to be changing minds. No matter how much we want to label a large group of people as Nazis we need to figure out a way to reach them. Not everyone on the

Though I agree that Trubisky has a lot to prove and is far from a given there are real reasons to be optimistic about him.  He’s more of a wait and see rather than passing judgement on him now.  He could cut either way.

I always ask this when stories of punters come up because I have yet to hear a good reason against it. Why don’t some teams have one person do both kicking and punting? It would matter more in the NFL where team sizes are more limited but why not carry a 3rd QB or another offensive lineman or another DB than have both

My biggest problem is I’m such an attractive guy that even with a costume on I still come across as hella sexy.  Sigh.

This is clearly an example of a Hall of Fame Coach testing his roster to see who is going to give up and who’s going to be a good soldier and fighter. See it works by the coaching staff pretends to throw games. If players go along with it you know you can trust those players. If players hang it up or start complaining

To be fair the fact that the team was trailing late means that there were failures prior to this one.  Not saying Montgomery didn’t fail but rather it was one of many.  For every late game fumble or missed FG there were dozens of plays prior that could have potentially changed the result of the game.

How disrespectful. They should all be acting like they’ve done it before and hand the ball to the official in a respectful manner. These events are serious business.  Nothing about these games is entertainment. Do you see anyone enjoying themselves?

To be fair America is a pretty shady place too.  In some ways this feels like the pot calling the kettle black.

This would have never happened if that player didn’t die and yet the blame is getting put on the head coach. How fair is that? I want a coach who’s preaching personal accountability. Rather than point a finger they should be pointing a thumb back at themselves?  Spin is both terrifying and a four letter word.

Trubisky may work out great for the Bears. This is the first season he’s had good coaching and he’s shown flashes. It’s too soon to say the Bears made a mistake passing on Mahomes.
