His latest novel, The Fireman, is actually a really nice tribute to his father, specifically The Stand. Would recommend if you're a fan, and it stands on its own very well too.

I was pretty blown away by Kia Stevens. I've been watching her for years but knew nothing about her background. She's lived so many different lives, I had no clue. I really hope acting works out long term, it seems like that's where she wanted to end up all along.
I didn't even think they were doing it this season. All my guide showed was a Star Trek movie. Kind of disappointing for the final season.
I just can't do it. There's plenty of wacky theories and ideas I'm willing to debate but I draw the line at flat earthers. I'm not having that discussion.
I have a soft spot for Dana. I know she's not very good in the ring, but it's not her fault she was called up too early. I actually thought she was improving quite nicely in NXT before she was called up. And this clip from Axxess just melts my heart. http://www.sescoops.com/fan…
Lately, I'm into Killing the Town with Storm and Cyrus. It's mostly WWE centric, but they also review old ecw episodes. They also did a really good episode about Bad News Allen and told stories about their time working with him in Canada. I'd recommend the show for that episode alone.
He definitely has a huge fanbase. It's possible that the very vocal hardcore fans who show up to ppvs and television tapings create the illusion that he's hated by most of the fans. I've seen footage of him getting very positive reactions at non-televised events which seem to attract a higher percentage of children,…
I'm actually happy The Drifter is on the main roster. It's been a while since I've had such a radical change of opinion on a wrestler or gimmick. Maybe we'll even see El Vagabundo again some day.
The Hardys weren't particularly Broken on Raw talk. There were glimpses of it in the way Matt spoke at times, but they were mostly just Matt and Jeff.
It should probably just be renamed Roman heat at this point.
Ugh, I forgot all about Pitbull. This show may even go later than last year.
Well, here it comes.
Oh my god…
Interesting choice for an opening match, didn't see that coming.
Seems like Taker and Reigns really are going on last.
I'm going with Killian Dain, just because.
Goddam, that entrance ramp and stage is just awesome.
'Our staff's two biggest wrestling enthusiasts'. Wouldn't that be Kyle and LaToya? I didn't even know these other guys covered wrestling for AV Club.
All I can say in defence of Dan is that at least he ended the podcast. Based on the success, I thought he'd stretch it out for three seasons and end up interviewing Richard's mailman, third grade teacher, etc. But he's said his piece and now it's done. Richard seems to be perfectly fine and I hope everybody just…
No offence Benjamin, but thank god it wasn't Jerry. I did figure out early on that Benjamin was unlikely to survive the episode, but you never know when they'll swerve us. That was a pretty suspenseful commercial break. Richard's death came as a shock, though. Overall, really solid episode.
