Why settle for just one slideshow?

Will our responses be turned into a slideshow?

Why was it beat so hard with the fugly stick? I’ve seen heavy equipment with more style and panache.

It doesn’t exist yet, though

I’ve been lusting after a Zero for a long time. Just been waiting for the price to come down. They make little tweaks but price seems to be going up over time. I expected a battery breakthrough by now, but even without that, why can’t we have sub-$10k electric bikes?

Old cars are safer.

You can still find people who think it’s safer to drive without your seatbelt buckled because “you want to be thrown clear in an accident.”

When I start my car for the first time of the day, I wait 20-30 seconds until the rpms drop down a bit, then I figure the car thinks it’s warmed-up. It does take longer in the winter, but never more than a minute.

And homeboy didn’t think to familiarize himself with the actual shift pattern with the motor off first? Just went ahead and dove in and spent a few minutes turning the synchros to dust?? Because of how the pattern on the top of the knob looked???

The loooooooong-throw shifter advertised a very strange shift pattern, with first where third would be, second somewhere near first, and third somewhere near fourth. Fourth’s location was a mystery. I spent the first few minutes of the drive hunting for relevant gears until I realized the shift knob itself was

There’s an Amazon in the 2011 U.S. remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Unfortunately, it only made it into a few shots near the end.
