Right? I tried to price an “Outer Banks” Bronco — which has the nicer interior and comfort options — and it wouldn’t allow the manual. (Sigh). As if anyone who wants a stick couldn’t possibly appreciate style or convenience.

I will just never understand why carmakers think that people who want a manual transmission want a stripped down car.    I want every bell and whistle INCLUDING a manual transmission, which I am happy to pay more for.

Yeah, the pending comments don’t always show up anymore. I long for the good old days of about six months ago where clicking on the “this post” link in notifications would load the page in a way that took you straight to your comment. Now it’s often too much of a bother to reply to a reply.

You’re right there. If Nissan would put in a 300 Hp motor and sell for $30K ish, they’d kick Toyobaru twins and the ‘cheap’ Supra out of the market.

We kept seeing the yellow car with the black details. I liked it, but the front end was always slightly weird to me. Not bad by any means, just something that stood out in a way I wasn’t expecting.

A rear hatch, integra style, would have made this my perfect car.
