Every picture in this article looks like it was taken while you were actively falling down.

I was going back and forth over the car’s cost today versus the original price. I didn’t think inflation would make a huge difference after only 13 years, but I decided to punch it into the inflation calculator anyways. This car was around $80,000 new in 2021 post-Covid American wasteland bucks.

This car in brown (aka Mahogany Metallic) is the wet dream of the average Jalop.

The Cross Turismo wagon body won’t be offered without the black plastic cladding and the 20mm lifted suspension. That’s a shame.

it was fun and silly event after a rough fucking year, they let a 4 year old win the title, they raised 10K for a children’s hospital, and gathered 200-300lbs of food for the local food pantry.

Also this from NBC news:

seems like they were just... joshing around.

Agreed. Naming a 4 year old “Top Josh” is kind of sweet and shows that this was a good natured event. Hardly the worst thing on the internet.

Cord Automobile. Innovations were introduced by Cord that did not appear in production vehicles for nearly 30 years after they were rolled out.

You know what, after half a million dead, a homelessness crisis that’s going to be unlike anything we’ve seen before, and a goddamn insurrection formulated the former president of our country, let the joshes have their fun.

I like it, though I do wish it had a manual. I think it was a smarter decision on their end to forgo it, but a guy can dream. The Veloster N that I test-drove was a ton of fun to drive, though it did have that manual and I was focused on that. Could do without... whatever mess is going on with the front bumper, though.

Surprised no Mazda so far. Lots of nice stuff, but most of the cars are beyond normal budgets. The current crop of Mazdas, including the 3, have some of the nicest interiors in the class they participate in. The MX-30 is straight up beautiful. I had a Mazda6 for 7 years and never felt the interior was low quality, or

For a modern day interior, the LC does it for me.

I mean, if I had a dollar for every time we received a Sierra or Yukon with Chevy parts on it (door sills, wheels, trim pieces, etc.) I could afford to buy one.

When it comes to interior design, it is hard to beat Scandinavian minimalism.

While the expensive answers are the most obvious (911 by Singer), I’m going with something more pedestrian. The Mk. VII Volkswagen GTI. The GTI is “for the money” the hands down best interior on the market. The brushed stainless steel, carbon fiber, and leather might sometimes be imitation but you just don’t care

Current TT RS. Modern, and minimalist. Manages to have a minimal amount of buttons AND a minimal amount of LCD screens, while still being functional and modern.  I love it.

Wow, 9-0 decision, with this court?!
