I like it too

Miata is always my answer.

The new Hyundai Elantra has something like this to the left of the instrument screen. I actually thought you were going to mention it, since it looks so similar:

I was also going to say Aptera! It seems they may actually launch something. Check out their Instagram if you want to see them testing their alpha models.

Is Aptera a decent replacement?

I wish it had AWD since it is auto-only. Would have been cool as FWD manual, but I guess that’s what the Veloster is for? At least it has an eLSD!

They canceled the GT after the 2020 model year. I own one and would have much rather seen a GT N than this thing.

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson comes in a hybrid and can get a tow hitch mounted. Since we get the long wheelbase model in the USA, it should be plenty big enough in the backseat. If that isn’t big enough, the Santa Fe also comes in a hybrid this year. Neither look hybrid-y and I doubt a teenager/young adult would mind

I would argue that it DOES work as advertised. If the driver is doing what Tesla says is their responsibility, like staying in the seat with your seatbelt on, watching the road, and keeping your hands on the wheel, it works as intended.

I’m going to preface this with: I’m not a Tesla owner or a fanboy.

including one man yelling at the officer, “She was just a kid! Are you crazy?!”

Do they fold flat forward on the Fit? I only see pictures of them folded back, which isn’t ideal.

I have a hatchback and I’m always annoyed when I need to move longer objects because the front seat does not fold flat. I think the Matrix/Vibe twins had fold flat front seats, and I think it is brilliant!

Someone here has never lived with auto wipers!

I don’t think I have ever seen a review that mentioned them. We need to get the Straight Pipes guys to start checking for them while they test sun visors and cupholders.

Mercedes, where are you getting LED headlights for cars without them looking like “I got these at Pep Boys on sale”? I’ve never found a factory looking headlight that promises better lighting for a decent price.

This isn’t really on-topic, because it isn’t something the aftermarket does, but I’m confused why automatic wipers aren’t more common? I had them in an old BMW, but my modern cars still don’t have it. My car has CarPlay, pano roof, LED headlights, heated/cooled seats, etc., but then I have to fiddle with the stupid

A while ago I read a comment where someone used custom filters in uBlock, which helps keep a lot of ads out of Chrome. But if I’m using my phone, these kinja sites are unbearable.

The difference is, all those cars looked like vans. Make them look like SUVs and things change. Just look at the HR-V vs. the Fit. Basically the same vehicle, but they sold 2-3x more HR-Vs.

a manner of hissyfittery which you would think would get most people fired from their jobs
