Someone here has never lived with auto wipers!
I don’t think I have ever seen a review that mentioned them. We need to get the Straight Pipes guys to start checking for them while they test sun visors and cupholders.
Mercedes, where are you getting LED headlights for cars without them looking like “I got these at Pep Boys on sale”? I’ve never found a factory looking headlight that promises better lighting for a decent price.
This isn’t really on-topic, because it isn’t something the aftermarket does, but I’m confused why automatic wipers aren’t more common? I had them in an old BMW, but my modern cars still don’t have it. My car has CarPlay, pano roof, LED headlights, heated/cooled seats, etc., but then I have to fiddle with the stupid…
A while ago I read a comment where someone used custom filters in uBlock, which helps keep a lot of ads out of Chrome. But if I’m using my phone, these kinja sites are unbearable.
I think, yes, it’s normal to have one side more open than the other (I don’t have a reference, maybe I read it somewhere?). But when both sides are open it’s like I’m on oxygen. So nice! I have had polyps removed twice, and also have the memory problems you have described. I also chalk it up to being almost 40. Maybe…
The difference is, all those cars looked like vans. Make them look like SUVs and things change. Just look at the HR-V vs. the Fit. Basically the same vehicle, but they sold 2-3x more HR-Vs.
a manner of hissyfittery which you would think would get most people fired from their jobs
I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but the Veloster N is now available with an 8-speed DCT (automatic). In my area, the automatics are much easier to find.
It’s a little odd to me that they didn’t include the GT-R in their “we make fun cars” advertisement. I know they want to focus on the Z, but it could have been in the last shot of the whole lineup. Looking again, I guess they are only showing their new or updated cars for this year.
Wow! I usually feel like an asshole when I point this stuff out. It makes me feel special that you read the comments!
The carmaker tied a balloon full of
Heliumhydrogen to a toy model of its Duster.
Just the title of this made me laugh uncontrollably. The article is amazing. A recall to find a gold pen? Perfection.
I’m a fan of Hyundai, and I think they have been doing great things lately. I was super excited about this truck… until today. The concept had a 2+2 kind of vibe with an almost full-size bed and small rear doors/seats. This went the other way and looks to be just a modern Subaru Baja.
Yeah I have the Sport Tech Package. I wanted a manual but you can’t get the panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats without the DCT (in the USA).
At the beginning of 2019, I bought a 2018 Elantra GT Sport CPO because it was $10k less than new, only had 9,000 miles, and the dealership offered a lifetime powertrain warranty. Considering it has a turbo and DCT, I wanted that peace of mind. Weird how different all these experiences are!
I had a 2012 Miata Sport, and I miss it daily.
I love the Autozams but have never seen one in person. I know they are small, but seeing one next to a Civic Del Sol really puts it into perspective. Yikes!
I really don’t like that cladding. The front end looks cool head on, but at an angle it looks like a chipmunk with a mouth full of nuts. I bet the first one I see will be in Yellow Springs.
