My dad had a ‘97 Mercedes C230 that he said was one of the cheapest cars he ever got parts for (except for a replacement key, of course). He does all his own car repairs.

Sold out?! Sigh.

Sold out?! Sigh.

My goal is to have a Lexus LC500 convertible in my garage. It will probably sit next to my spouse’s ND Miata. Hopefully my restored 260Z 2+2 is also there. EVs have a place in my (ever expanding) hypothetical garage, but they will most likely be daily drivers (VW ID Buzz?!).

This. Do I love that these manual V8 cars will exist for a little longer? Yes. Would I spend the money? No, and for the same reason.

Came here for this.

A younger version of me spent hours and hours replicating harlequin paint on a ton of cars in Forza. You are correct that they all looked badass when finished.

I hope that you can option a regular wheel (and make it heated!). I like that they added seat ventilation, because this is the first Tesla to have it. I’m disappointed that they raised the price back up; it was a good thing that the prices on these kept dropping.

A few years ago I had a NC Miata, that I adored. My spouse currently has a ND Miata, which I like, but not as a passenger. I want a Boxster because, well, I have never had one.

Yes. I’ve been looking for a Boxster in my ‘price range’ for a while, and I realized that they have to be over 100,000 miles and the interior beat to shit for me to afford it as an extra car.

The standard Taycan is available with two different battery options. The Performance Battery option gets you 79.2 kWh of power, which is good for 402

I get so excited when I see these!

Ah I see. I don’t read YT comments. It’s like getting cancer. LOL

Believe me, I want them to be reliable. And TFL mentions in most of their videos that they had a super reliable LR before, and want this one to be too. But I wouldn’t call these guys “trolls” who buy these with their own money and are transparent about the issues they have. Doug DeMuro became internet famous for

I feel like I’ve seen these wheels somewhere before. VW? Hyundai? I just can’t place it...

I enjoyed this rant a lot, thank you!

With just about every manufacturer obsessed with coining a corporate face and striving for predictable, tedious design consistency across their entire fleet, I can’t overstate how refreshing it is to see Hyundai forge this path of making wildly unique cars.

The Fast Lane also has constant air suspension errors that require cycling the car on and off to clear. Doug DeMuro has one and his sunroof broke already, thankfully closed.

I couldn’t even read the article after that abomination of a photoshop job.

For me, it’s a tie between a 2012 Mazda MX-5 and a 2011 BMW Z4. Both have two seats, so only one person can go with me anywhere, and both have small trunks. The BMW had a bigger trunk, but was half the size when the top was down. Both were great cars that I wish I still had in my fleet.

I’m waiting for all the comments about how square grilles are ugly. First the Proto Z, and now this. Is this the start of a design trend?
(Full disclosure, I like both the Proto Z design and this Jeep)
