One thing that has always confused me, especially with Honda motorcycles, is the lack of color options. Right now if you go to their website and “build” a NC750X, the color options are: Graphite Black. No other colors. Look at the CB300R ABS: Matte Pearl Blue. Why only one color?
Plus, it seems to have a mid-gate as well, which of course is an avalanche of utility.
You clearly do not work for the NSA or Facebook.
I’ve always said that if I had the money, I would start a car company that would buy these designs and make them today with EV powertrains and modern tires and safety systems. I would love to see these beautiful creations on the road.
I’m so glad to finally hear someone say this out loud! I always felt like I wasn’t really a car guy because a) I don’t care for car shows, and 2) I’ve never owned an Alfa.
I’ve never been good at these kinds of open-ended games, but this seems stupid to me. First, how are you supposed to know when the word starts and stops? Second, each “letter” code has different quantities of dashes (from 3 to 5). Their first hint was “R”? No wonder no one cares.
They would have really pissed off Elon if they called it the Model E. They blocked him from using that name for the Model 3.
Mach-E pricing may be an issue as well, even though it is highly competitive among EVs, undercutting the $49,990 Tesla Model Y.
Not only do these slideshow layouts annoy me for all the clicking I have to do, but if you start a video and go to the next slide, the previous continues playing. Cool.
I am a bit of a brand jumper, but there are a few that have treated me well. Toyota (of course), Hyundai has impressed me lately, and Dyson. I tend to go to the same salespeople if possible, and follow them to the dealerships they move to. There is also a local tire store that I tell everyone about, and will always go…
It isn’t just women who act this way. I am a gay guy and I have an ex who would constantly complain that I didn’t do enough around the house. I will say that looking back, I was a bit lazy, but he was also doing the work before I had the chance. How can I load the dishwasher or run the dryer if they are already…
In the early 2000s my mom had (and still has) a NB Miata. I drove a MR2 Spyder and wasn’t impressed. The interior was smaller, and there was no storage space in the trunk. The Miata is small enough, so I never understood why anyone would pick the even smaller MR2.
There is a 2nd gen Cavalier wagon that is someone’s daily driver in my neighborhood. I see plenty of 3rd gen Cavaliers, usually tan in color, around here and I always wonder how they are still running. I agree though, that I still see more PTs than Cavaliers.
I’m right at the age where I remember these being around, but not old enough to have driven them. My grandpa had a late 80s Lincoln Mark VII which was cool, comfortable and fast. The air suspension was always broken. The closest thing my parents ever had to a comfy cruiser was a 1994 Chrysler New Yorker (purple with…

I like this idea, but don’t like that I’d have to take the band off every time. I tried strapping my watch directly to my phone with the sport band, and it worked great! I just saved $20.
Ohio lets you do this for free on their website:
I understand your point, but the gauges are arguably the most looked at part of the car for the driver. I would much prefer to look at the MX-5 gauges than this.
