This is what I was thinking too.

My grandfather had spare keys to his S10 hidden all over the place (garage, basement, etc.) so taking the keys never worked because he always found a spare somewhere. My parents bought the truck from my grandma, and my mom would have to tell him daily “Thank you, Dad, for letting us borrow the truck for a while. It

I agree! The Cupra El-Born (their version of the VW ID.3) looks spectacular.

Ha! Yeah I figured out that it was 0.6 inches after I converted 3/5 to 6/10th. 3/5 just didn’t compute in my brain. Great work on the article though!

No offense to Derek, but this sentence gave me a migraine. Again, why didn’t the USA fully switch to metric in 1975?

I agree. Look at those kWh/100 mi figures. Even the Model X is far better than the Audi.

I was thinking the same thing. The Miata might be a bit smaller and slower, but will cost you almost nothing to own, and has a glass rear window.

Love it! Thank you!

I grew up in the cornfields of Ohio and I can tell you how dangerous corn is. Also dangerous: all the rural roads that have 90 degree corners with corn on both sides. I couldn’t count how many times I went around a bend on a 1-1/2 lane road with corn and found a combine or huge truck taking up the whole road. Scary

I must be getting old, because for the second day in a row I’ve thought, “Is $5000 the new $500?”

I always look to see if a car has automatic wipers. I don’t see any pictures of the wiper stalk.

You may wait forever for a manual 2.7TT. I bet they drop the manual altogether before they offer a manual V6.

I was talking to a friend about this today and he suggested we buy a manual G70 and stash it away. But after a little bit of research, I realized that for $40k, I’d much rather have a Model 3. The Tesla is larger inside, has 50% more storage, and the G70 manual doesn’t have a pano roof or adaptive cruise. The G70 is

It makes me happy to know that someone bought one! Too bad they axed that powertrain option in 2020.

Three of the four cars that my household has purchased new have been manuals. However, most of our purchases are used. I agree with ptgreenphone that I don’t always have a choice. The Elantra GT I bought CPO required that I got the DCT to get the sunroof. Going from a manual convertible to a car, I chose the pano roof

My favorite way to cool a car is to just put the top down. Miata cools right down.

Thanks!

What on Earth is going on back here?

Neutral: Yes, but I think the “mid-size” trucks are far too expensive. I am excited to see what Hyundai does with the Santa Cruz!
