I also feel very strongly about door pulls. I was extremely disappointed with Mazda for having them in the NC Miata, but not the ND. Even more pissed when I found out the Fiata does have them!  The ND is very uncomfortable for the passenger anyway, at least give them a place to hold on.

I live in Ohio, so not the same market, but I did a 10 second cars.com search for “Used, Convertible, Manual, Max $40k” and did a sort by Price High to Low. The third car on the list (after a Viper and 190SL) was a red 2008 Carrera Cab manual with 41k miles... So to me the answer is, just get another 997!

So where do you find all these i30 mods? I have a ‘18 GT Sport DCT and I would love to get a heated steering wheel. I’m always looking for mods, but find Hyundai upgrade parts harder to find these days.

I saw a black one in Ohio last week and I really liked the way it looked (since the vents aren’t as obvious with black paint) but I agree that I didn’t have a reaction to it. A few weeks ago I saw a Lexus LC and thought it was MUCH more impressive.

How about Porsche? Older low mileage Cayman S or newer higher mileage Macan S:

Why are they calling it a plug-in hybrid? Am I missing something?

I drove from Fairborn, Ohio to West Chester (basically Dayton to Cincinnati) right after college. It was 47 miles each way, and back then they were working on expanding 75, so it was 2 lanes (each direction) most of the way. Also, there were no shoulders, so at least once a week someone crashed into someone else and

Ford made a unique engine for the GT350 though...

Thanks Patrick!

Can someone explain to me why Toyota needed to go to BMW for this? I understand that they wanted an inline six, but Toyota already has FR platforms they could have used.  Lexus RC? LC? Also if they really wanted an I-6, don’t they have modular engine designs to create one? It all just seems so weird to me.

I’m disappointed that the door panels are so crappy. The one thing I liked more on this car than the Miata was the grab handles on the doors. The NC Miatas have them!

I’m super excited about this car. Since the day I heard that glorious V8 on the MotorTrend youtube channel, I hoped they would make a droptop version. In regards to other people’s comments on the backseat, I welcome a tiny backseat. No one is putting humans back there. I currently drive a roadster, and on longer

I’m disappointed that there was no Mr. & Mrs. Smith reference, since Angelina Jolie is the first thing that I think of when I see one of these...

Didn’t we just see a video of a Corolla that had this same modification and roof shape on Jalopnik? Who is making these cars?

I have a 1974 260Z 2+2... why were they left off the list?

According to what I can see on cars.com, you could get both the GT in yellow (around $40k) or the GT2 (MSRP over $50k). So if it really is a GT2 for low 40s, I would also say buy it. But it might be a GT, and in that case, you can get them in the high 30s.

This same thing happened to me! It was the second day I had my (new to me) e89 Z4, and came out of a bar with a friend. It was parked next to the sidewalk and someone had spit a big loogie right next to the hood badge. I think my friend was much more upset than I was. I just wet a microfiber and wiped it off.

That is one gorgeous Z! My first car was a 1975 260Z 2+2, which is still in my grandfather’s barn waiting for a full restoration. When I have the money, I’ll get started on it.

Well, shit. I must have come to this conclusion by looking at the online configurators and just believed Mazda was being awesome. The other combinations make no sense to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Besides, it’s a second or third car, not a primary one.
