While I agree that the GS is going to be a giant slayer, even down on power, I’m interested in seeing how the second year Z06s run. The aftermarket swears up and down they’ve figured out the overheating issue (no heat shield between the cat and the oil cooler, things that are separated by just a couple inches.), which

I would posit that this is the better car for track duty. It’s got the wide track and aero of the z06 but without being overpowered. Notwithstanding the reliability issues the Z06 have experienced on the track, 650hp really is too much power for 99% of drivers on the track. You don’t really want to be hitting 160mph

What engine would you like to see it with? The LT4 neuters itself after a few laps on track and some have even grenaded after being exclusively street driven.

Don't think this will work as a desktop image. When I set it, my computer immediately crashes into the the nearest Corvette.

Magnussen likely made the crazy assumption that the Porsche was going to turn left.

it’s the opposite, Corvette was more on a proper racing line, porsche took an odd inside line to try and not fall behind and went WAYYYY past the braking zone in the wet, that’s 100% on the porsche, dude wouldn’t have made that turn even if the corvette wasn’t there, was way too hot.
