The 2021 kia esoul website is still disabled. I found no indication that it is coming back. Summer of 2020 it was reported as dead.

I like it too but it’s not a van, it’s a Tall Boy.
The 2020 Soul EV was pulled from its launch in the US market.
Any new Tallboy EV would be a step in the right direction. Beats a CUV any day of the week. I’m still waiting to see if we will ever get the new Soul EV in the US. it’s not looking likely.
We have a 2018 Sedona we just got in July with the help of Tom McParland and we are loving it. I have to admit that the new Carnival looks great but I am surprised that they didn’t make a PHEV option. that’s basically the only thing going for the Pacifica in my mind when we were looking at minivans. seems like an…
The Kia Trailster would have likely been an excellent fit if it ever made it from concept to production.
god I hope they aren’t covered in random blue accents like the Niro EV.
the only thing I need more of is room. I’m not one of those big guys that needs more power. I’d drive a smart car if I was comfortable. love small cars in general. I was super excited about the new Soul EV but it looks like we won’t get that in the US. I hate the stereotype that since I’m bigger I need to drive an SUV…
I’m 6'6 and weigh 370. both of my femurs at the knee are deformed from birth leading to premature osteoarthritis in both knees. I was a lean 220 once and a division 1 collegiate rower but the arthritis and autoimmune gastrointestinal disease contributed to my weight gain after college. I’m 36 with 2 kids under the…
I’m not an enthusiast so I’m just hoping for a tallboy EV that is comfortable, quiet, and cushy in the future...like an EV La-Z-Boy in a box with wheels for my 26 mile morning commute. I was hoping for the new Soul EV but it doesn’t look like we will ever get that in the states. hopefully something like it will come…
Love the work you are doing to the leaf. If I wasn’t such a big guy and could fit in one, and if I had a shorter commute, I would love this car. As for colors I’m a fan of a deep blue. I can’t stand all the blue accents on EVs but if the whole thing was blue that would be a nice touch (like dude blue or relic blue)…
I worked at a rental car company between 2007 and 2010. pretty accurate information here, but there are a lot of changing variables so make sure to call the rental company at least 24 hours in advance so they can let you know their procedure. for several months I worked at an office near an army base and had several…
I can’t say that I’m drooling over the Nissan Re-Leaf Prototype but I dare say that a “tall boy” EV, like the new Kia Soul (that looks like the U.S. WON’T be getting) especially something with sliding rear doors...now that is something I can get behind. I’m thinking like an EV Suzuki Spacia Gear with slightly larger…
this article and the recommendations seem a bit dated. instead of jumper cables just get a jump starter battery. I don’t know anyone under 40 who carries jumper cables or an old fashioned heavy booster box around in their car anymore but my whole family uses jump starter batteries. most of them also have usb outputs…

Now you got me wondering if when cars were invented there were people who legit wanted them to neigh like horses.
There is also a lower temp canning method published by chef steps that has a 1:1 water to vinegar ratio brine and uses quart or smaller jars in a sous vide bath of 140 degrees for 2.5 hours. this method is not USDA approved but was endorsed by Douglas Baldwin. the recipe states the jars should be shelf stable for 6…
Given I may not fit in a Soul EV, I was still really looking forward to it being released in the US. Of all the reasonably priced currently produced EVs in the US I like the look of the new Soul EV the best. It will be a real shame if it isn’t made available here.
I get what you’re saying, and I’ve been down that road before, but you are better off not judging a book by its cover. I would love an EV but being 6 and a half feet tall and not a bean pole, a pickup truck may be my best option to get into one in the near future despite the fact that I work at a desk all day and…
I would love an EV or PHEV but I also want to murder whoever decided they all need blue accents. I was looking at the Niro EV the other day and thinking to myself how much I hate those blue accents. I just want a normal looking car is that so much to ask!
child seats, for one, tall drivers could be a reason as well.
