2000 Lexus RX300 fails an emission test. Code says faulty cat. Repair shop tells owner your car has 3 cats and the code doesn’t tell us which one is bad. They replace 2 and say the second one was the bad one and charge him $1,500. I never heard of a car with more than 2 cats.

Seems like a software tweak would have been enough to get an extra 5 hp. If they were going to do that much it should pay off bigger, or don’t bother.
