Probably could have borrowed against the shares.

Don't forget the Rand Corporation in all of this.

That's the worst name I've ever heard.

I'm not your guy, friend.

Oh yeah, he should be prosecuted for sure. I was just talking about them getting some money back. The whole meeting with the DA was pretty bogus from a factual standpoint.

He is a Madoff. He took the money to pay other people he ripped off.

The financial guy held back 14M for "taxes" and squandered it all. I could see Big Head blowing through 6M in pretty short order with all his lunacy. Maybe there was no equity.

Which is kinda dumb. You can stretch out any collection action for a long time. Hold them off for a couple of years and your stock is either worth 100x as much and you pay off the chicken-feed or it is worth nothing and file Chapter 7.

He didn't contribute those assets to the partnership, so they couldn't be used to do stuff. However, he set it up as a general partnership, which means that he is personally liable for the debts of the partnership. He wasn't being nice to Big Head (who has nothing), he was making the best deal possible as otherwise

They didn't have a Kra' Gl'e.

" it’s only a matter of time before Richard’s arrogance brings their burgeoning relationship."

Nah, doesn't matter. If you coat your face in ink and smash it on a document, as long as it clearly shows your intent to enter into the contract, it is legally binding.

J.J. Abrams created Lost. Jack Bender directed 38 episodes of Lost, including The Constant about a character's consciousness jumping backwards and forwards in time. Jack Bender directed this episode of Game of Thrones.

His brain may have been so fried that he didn't know exactly why he needed to a "hold the door."

Wasn't really surreptitious though. It was a scheduled meeting with a reporter on the record and she had her phone sitting right on the table.

Shut up, Creepio.

Definitely in the pantheon, but for writing I think he is a step behind the other two. Homer the Heretic gets him close though.

That is selling him short. Look at this line up of episodes (not complete, but these are his golden age eps):

True, but they don't seem particularly worried about it and are pretty patronizing with Paige when she bring up asking for it.

I don't think there is a tape with a lawyer. There is a line where Phillip says he listened to the tape from the bug they have on Tim and there was no discussion of a tape or a lawyer. It was a bluff.
