Let’s see... E1 had the girlfriend who wanted to kill the aunt but never took her shot. E2 had the husband try the world’s weakest attempted murder. E3 had the director literally frighten the lead to death. I look forward to John Slattery’s murder spree in E4.

Wow, that is an interesting premise and could’ve made for an engaging episode of television. I got none of that from this ponderous mess.

What you’re describing isn’t rude, it’s simply one aspect of the dining experience presented by that restaurant. If you don’t enjoy it, then best to avoid places that do that sort of thing.

“Only shitty people would take issue”. In your bar, sure. Or at Michelle’s place, yeah probably so.

“white tablecloth restaurant”, “make a big scene of ripping open paper”, “yelling about the gifts”, “for the 45 minutes it lasted”

I’ve been watching since it was first released, and agree with you completely on all points (well, except I didn’t notice #3, or #4 so much).

Yeah, the one more parameter is iffy. I’ve lately been trying “any recommendations? — not too sweet, and not bitter” (I don’t enjoy bitter at all).

Red wine and cola over ice is popular in Basque Spain, making a poor mans sangria. It sounds even worse than pinot noir and Sprite but is... fine.

What, they have her picture right there on the article. Clearly it’s the same person every week.

Yeah, screw those customers who recognize that most cockatil lists lean sweet because sweet drinks appeal to the vast majority of Americans palates... but not their own. Pretentious gits.

Pretty sure they were just calling out Kmart going down in the Sears bankruptcy.

I don’t remember even a hint of Mike liking Walter.

Exactly. I came around to sci fi big-time with the Battlestar Galactica reboot, realizing that it’s unmatched as a genre in its ability to explore aspects of humanity by allowing the writer to clear the decks and set up a scenario that would be impossible to attain or obscured by contrivance in other genres.

Wait, what rhyme?

This is disheartening. The alternate history was always my favorite element of this show, and the sci-fi my least favorite.

I read about 10 replies into this thread, was going to add my pick ( In-n-Out), and then had the realization: Why are we having this debate? When did we as a society lose sight of the fact that _all_ fast food is a sad, dissatisfying experience?

I assume the “record-low rates seen not long ago” were attributable to the generation (my generation) that came of age in the “sex=death” years of the peak AIDS crisis.

Nah.

Wow, great point. I missed the fact that Howard was not only feeling guilty, but grieving the loss of his friend and mentor with, like you said, no one’s condolences or words of sympathy.

“I’m Saul Goodman, babe.”
