Jerseys, yes. Their gloves are fuck ugly.

Holy shit, I never thought of that. You’re right, it does.

Ugh. Those jerseys look awful. I hate when teams have nonsensical logos and a mishmash of terrible colours.

Now playing

“Jannetty tried to dive through the window to escape! Did you see that? What an act of cowardism!”

The Brain was one of the greatest professionals in the sports.

You nailed it. It was the WIT. I swear he informed my sense of humor at a young age as much as anyone.
He was so QUICK. Yes he had a lot of pre-written stuff he’d cover, but it was the in the moment reactions and comments that were ALWAYS in character & totally on point. He was the first “troll” and somehow

“This is my second favorite theme song in the WWF.”

Honestly one of the best comedians of our time. Rapier wit and laser fast on his quips. I laughed so hard at his comments over the years.

One of my favorite wrestling moments is for years going back to the AWA and continuing through the WWF Heenan always said Hogan was a snake in the grass and that he will be proven right one day.

“So this is heaven, huh Monsoon? You’d think there would be less politicians.”

My other thought is: poor Gorilla. He had 17 years of relative peace, and wherever he is he surely has to break “WILL YOU STOP” out of mothballs.

What kind of high school football player writes well enough to put the apostrophe after both coaches’ names in a friggin tweet? Half the people I work with don’t get that right. Kid’s smart.

Few moments on actual TV shows broke my heart like the moment Jericho lifted his new list into view and “List of KO” was taped on the back.

To be fair, i’ve felt like everything in wrestling has been a step down from the Festival of Friendship

You mentioned Jericho’s reinventions to me yesterday. That’s what Roman needs. He doesn’t have to become a storyline heel, because nothing would really change if they did that, anyway. But he’s still wearing Shield garb and the “I’m the guy” bit never built his character.

It’s been an odd year for Reigns. He hasn’t won a PPV match in six months, he’s put over Strowman — who at this point is probably the most over guy on Raw — and yet he’s still going to beat John Cena and eventually Brock Lesnar. I’m not sure how Vince thinks taking a product the crowd doesn’t buy, giving in to their

i didn’t like it. the ‘shoot-criticize john cena’ promo is pretty played out at this point. it was cool back when cm punk first did it, but this one seemed like an iwc argument playing out on camera.

It was a fun promo but still didn’t make me want to see this match because Roman Reigns gassing out five minutes into a twenty minute match is always *fart noise* (protip: don’t wrestle in chickenshit heel body armor, especially as a face)

A ‘shoot’ is something that is unscripted. It can be an interview, a backstage vignette, or even an entire match. Generally speaking only top level talent has the autonomy to do a ‘shoot’. Like a punter that has the green light to throw a pass if the return team isn’t covering the fake.

Sheiky is mad:
