I doubt many of them are smug. They have their own worries around getting a charge somewhere. A full charge in most EVs might get you to GA, assuming you don’t run the A/C. But the problem is the part of GA where you’re going to be stopping for a charge is also experiencing flooding.

The problem with insuring a Tesla, I imagine, is the obscene cost and delay in getting one repaired.

The duality of man.

Plus, once he starts firing, he looks scared of his own gun. Even if the law says his response was reasonable, his lack of gun control should have resulted in charges. But... if your legal system says his response is reasonable, I guess gun control doesn’t matter. Everyone is just lucky there wasn’t a school bus ahead

You sound like a crappy manager who seems to think that employees are clogs just like Elon and yes you are saying I’m a badass hardass curmudgeons.

This is exactly the questions management should be asking themselves, but won’t. As long as they can find any reason that doesn’t point the finger at them they will decide that is the reason.

If you think people are abusing the sick days that they have legitimately earned, you’re a toxic AF manager and I’m super happy I don’t work for you.

The concept of what makes a care “soulful” is as subjective as people’s taste in cars.

Well, thanks for spreading your colds and flus to the rest of your co-workers. I find this idea about “I never take sick days” to be utterly ridiculous.

You’re upset at an employee using all the sick time that he’s allowed? A whopping 14 days out of the ~250 working days in a year?

If they have enough management to spare for home visits and shirk their actual job, sounds like they have too many in management.

If Germany’s labor protections are so rife for abuse, why is the average sick day usage so much lower across the country than at this one plant?

Yeah, it doesn’t appear that she was remorseful. That probably played a part. When I’m wrong I find it’s never beneficial to tell someone how much they were impacted by what I did.

The issue, for me at least as someone who worked in auto insurance claims, is that if she had hit a normal person the cop wouldn’t have even come out let alone write anyone a ticket.

it’s to make weirdo bootlickers like you angry, so it’s working.

Counterpoint: How often do cops issue tickets for reckless driving in a low speed rear ending? And on private property? I’ve been rear ended at a stop sign. No ticket issued. One time I was hit in a parking lot I managed to flag a cop. He did nothing because it wasn’t on the street.

Bullshit. That’s what you read into it because your bias overwhelms your rationality. There is nothing in the article that even comes close to being anti-police.

The fuck does this have to do with politics?  A careless driving ticket is certainly warranted, because she was driving, carelessly, but this has fuck all to do with left or right.  Pull your head out of Trump’s ass and start using it to think.

I’m not saying landmines around the perimeter is a good solution, but I’m not, not saying it either.

“ricers”..... I don’t know if this is a case of an old man with a broken giveashitometer, but I recall a time when that was ‘ugh, SO offensive.’
Now, I am somehow okay with it. I don’t know if it has surpassed its initial meaning to the point that it has lost its effectiveness, or if I have early-onset conservative
