Seriously with this question? The sign doesn’t mean you check the phone at the coat check. If your phone rings (or vibrates) get up from the table and take the call outside. Which is exactly what you should do even without a damn sign on the door

I don’t think I have.
“The effort to annihilate Ninja hasn’t been mounted with the same vigor as previous campaigns,”
That line makes the claim that the gaming media has gone out of their way to destroy youtubers who’ve done the same thing before, and with an intentional gusto/agenda (“campaign”) rather than simply…
One word... “Dickwolves.”
NOPE, it was a smokescreen. If you take a look at their post that usually goes along with it, they pull the same old “grrrr, games media is bad!” shtick they’ve always done.
“The effort to annihilate Ninja hasn’t been mounted with the same vigor as previous campaigns, they have instead mounted a sumptuous, nuanced…
Particularly considering the plagiarized work is “mere” background, so (I’d assume) the vast majority of the work does fit the artists previous work, and the background doesn’t look completely out of place. (Though *now* it seems pretty obvious.)
With the amount of consumable media these days “it’s not that bad” is generally something I’m not eager to spend 2 hours of my life doing. And I don’t even have that busy of life- not married and no kids. But I do have a full time job and there’s just so many good shows, movies and video games these days, seeing some…
You’d have to be one of the most obtuse people in the world to boil down an article about the complexities of diversity in media into “dur they said it’s racist”
As always, you can’t discuss issues of race within media, and look at it with a critical eye, without people disingenuously misconstruing it with “Oh my God! They’re calling it racist!”.
Literally now literally means not literally.
Put some ads here and there, some homeless people in the streets and maybe a bank and you got a pretty good image of capitalism
*Looking up from my desk where I punch numbers into Excel for 50 hours a week to make some asshole rich while politicians vote to actively impoverish me*
But all they want is their lovely white ethnostate! And this game infringes upon their fee-fees! :V
They don’t hide their identities now.
You don’t think the Nazis winning WWII would have been horrible?
I remember seeing some “reviews” in Metacritic where they gave the game zero points and said that it got that because it’s obviously made anti-Trump game about Trump supporters and it’s liberal propaganda.
Did your Mom learn anything from these life lessons?
Amen to that. If an article just summarizes the key takeaways from the video, that’s a useful article.
Though, I prefer the breakdown over the video. I’d rather read then watch some doofus making goofy expressions with ear splitting background music. Usually the video is way too long in getting the point across.
I’m working in a slightly different order. Went St. Vincent first (which was fantastic), then Beck (which was pretty good). Gonna make my way to Courtney & Kurt later today, along with Wu Tang, King Krule, and maybe even Gucci.
So many albums this week. Made myself a little bipolar listening to King Krule followed by Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile this morning. Currently listening to Mauno’s new album. Will hit up Beck and St Vincent this afternoon.
