@iheartpie: The reason for lack of investment is that you can't beat gasoline for energy storage density per dollar. Once gas goes over 10 dollars a gallon in the US (or New York City is under water) we'll start taking second looks at other technologies.

This is a stupid idea if the inventor has any intention of commercializing it. If not, then I applaud the attempt.

@ostartero: Metroid Prime was the reason I had a Gamecube. Agree completely. Have you played the original Metroids? Just as much fun, if not more.

I just bought this 2 days ago. It has great everything except for any innovation in the 1st person shooter department. Goldeneye has more innovation than NOVA and it's over 10 years old. Then again, Goldeneye cost $50 at the time.

Gasoline is an energy source all on its own. The energy that you are buying to go into this car comes from somewhere. What is the impact of that energy source on the environment? If you are in China then it's coal, and that's not great.
