There’s actually a surprising reason as to why DB is back. For over a decade, all Dragon Ball had was endless meh-to-bleh video games only the hardcore would love. I got Saiyan Armor compression pants actually and a work out t-shirt that looks like Vegeta’s armor. Its awesome, one of the things I love about Dragon Ball and other shonen anime is it is a great motivation to work out. Royal Blue Vegeta’s theme is on my workout playlist and few others as well.
I went to a con panel featuring Chris Sabat last year and a guy in a Piccolo costume showed up late and was shimmying through the row of chairs to get to a seat and Sabat was like “Uh, sorry, excuse me, pardon me, hello, sorry” in Piccolo’s voice and I’m sure it made that guy’s life.
Also with My Hero Academia increasing in popularity I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of him too. He’s just so good at his job, my personal favorite part of Pop Team Epic is when he voiced the characters using variations on his All Might and Piccolo voices.
