@Altima NEO: Hmm Yeah PB can cause problems sometimes too.

@Altima NEO: Fuck securom. I won't buy it because of that.

@Squiffy: Yeah I'm pretty sure that MMO's don't have a problem with piracy though. It's a tiny niche that very few people go for. We MMO players tend to put up with the little interruptions & still pay for the game. Yes we bitch about downtime, but then we get over it & keep paying Blizzard/NCsoft our monies.

@moose_pants: Does it really matter how it happened? IMO no it doesn't. There will always be "something" to blame when their DRM servers fail. Way to fail Ubi.

@JABB: An unlimited supply of custom maps does not dilute the experience, trust me. (hehe I see that everyone wishes they had more maps ;) While the Ps3 version will die a slow death people will be playing on the PC for the next 15 years.

@mrpibb79: But the amount of custom maps, dedicated servers & everything else that comes along with running a PC TF2 server is awesome. Do they have that for the Ps3/360 versions or is it just matchmaking? I'm guessing not cause dedicated server owners need to apply the update themselves. I'm sure HL2 & Portal are

@def PD: Yeah I never understood why they released TF2 on the 360 & PS3. It's a PC game. Period. It must have been a horrible experience. They can get away with HL2 & Portal because of the single player nature and the Xbox 360 game pad actually works quite well on the PC version so I'm assuming they are both OK on

@Sustenance: And honestly with the way that Activision wanted the CoD franchise to head I can't blame the two for wanting to leave, but a contract is a contract.

@pigsdofly: It's OK. I'd just rather give creative people bonuses then greedy bankers is all. (The amount of the bonuses still disgust me, but I can't say I wouldn't want the same)

@Sustenance: Only if this was the case. If it is well then I can't really blame Activision. If they were just looking for an excuse to fire these guys & this is what they came up with then I will effectively boycott Activision (including Blizzard. bye bye WoW account)

@pigsdofly: Yeah dude, I'm pretty sure they didn't fuck up the economy of an entire country. In fact they made games that EXCEEDED everyone's expectations & that made Activision billions of dollars.

@Ultragrande: I hope they take every sigle employee with them. Especially the ones that were made to cry during interrogations.

@samson7point1: Which will be cracked anyways (i.e. Borderlands). So pirate away people!!! Fuck these motherfuckers.

@madcatz: Love that post. I wonder if Ubisoft did something like that to the game?

@seishino: Gave Bobby Kotick a bigger e-peen.

Installing my new copy of Windows 7 today because the RC is finally up. Then a marathon session of Mass Effect 2. Oh & some HL2 Ep.2 because there are Steam achievements for it. I didn't realize that til yesterday.

@Kris: Does it not use WASD to move & the mouse to look around? What about other keys can you not bind them to anything you want in the game?

@luusyphre: Mass Effect didn't have DRM, the devs just made it so the galaxy map didn't show up when you cracked the game. GTA4 on the other hand had a nasty version of securom. I didn't have problem with Securom on a ny games until GTA4. Horrible experience & I will never buy another game that uses more than one
