Being the current owner of B5 A4 Avant Quattro on which I do the vast majority of mechanical work, I would never buy another B5 at any price. These are truly disposable cars.

Do you really want bigger turbos though? KO4s seem like a sweet spot for driveability and *ahem* “reliablity”

I’ve no doubt that this is a fun car to drive. But I’m not paying for his mods, and I’m not gambling $12k of my money on a potential grenade.

Seats are a plus but stage 3 B5 S4s are common. Chances are you can find one with lower miles and/or a bigger turbo for a similar price or cheaper.
