Not quite the same, but whenever I eat out at a restaurant (doesn't matter whether it's fancy or just a KFC or something) I'll clean my table up before leaving. Wiping everything down as much as I can with paper towels and stacking used dishes in a nice pile.

Haha, while reading the first paragraph of your post, I immediately thought of Mother!. Me and my wife enjoyed seeing that in the theater, bit your right that it would difficult to watch again. Another good example would be Requiem for a Dream.
