This was a fun race to watch. F1 isn’t as exciting as it can be but it’s way more exciting to me than baseball, football, nascar and indy car.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel is not only Driver of the Day, he’s also Engineer of the Day and Strategist of The Day. Jeez, what the hell, Ferrari? You need an intervention, or at least call Lisa Su because AMD shouldn’t be on a shite car like the one you’re running.
I know ships aren’t the fastest things in the world, but they had roughly 2 weeks from the time of the grounding until the fuel started leaking. In that time frame, no one could send some sort of small tanker, or really anything capable of holding fluid, to try to remove the fuel from the ship?
Close entire terminal sections, reduce maintenance, heating/cooling to a minimum.

That ain’t quattro, that’s Haldex
So the lithium market is depressed? How ironic.
F1 needs to go back to the 70's, where displacement steered a multi-tiered field of wacky concepts and cylinder choices. The sport’s cost prohibitive anyway. Would love to see a V4-twin turbo vs a 2.0 v-10 vs. a 2 cylinder turbo/supercharged hybrid. FIA keeps its 100M yearly stipend to Ferrari. Everybody wins.
Why do I have the feeling that since announcing Seb wouldn’t be driving for them next year, Ferrari is giving Seb the half-effort, ‘drive the shit car’ routine and focusing all their efforts on Chucky? Any other team I probably wouldn’t consider doing such a thing, but Ferrari seems like such a petty, cut-throat,…
To be fair though, the 2 cars are focused on 2 very different things. I cross shopped the WRX and 18MY Mazda3. The interiors of the 2 are night and day.
It makes the person getting mad feel kind of smug.
people liked to joke about NASCAR being racist, but F1 has always struck me as a haven for darker, more malicious racism. NASCAR is like beer-throwing racist hayseeds, but F1 is the gerrymandering old legislator with the means and ability to minimise your voice and rights, while also sending out limp-wristed…
Asking the Austrian guy to actively contemplate his White identity seems like a bad idea tbh

Kneeling doesn’t mean anything. It’s theater. Even David Duke can kneel. It’s what the person does day-to-day that tells if they are racist.
Does getting mad at someone for not doing enough really help anything?
Neutral: For almost any purchase, all else being equal (quality/price), I would choose a product from a democratic country virtually every time. Secondarily, I’ll choose a product from a smaller, developing country before China every time.
They have no desire to bring a product to market.
