Slippery slope. What would define correctly? The current 500 year flood projection? Who is to say that is accurate? People who study the climate will tell you its not an exact science (and if they dont, they are liars) so how can you use that for your basis of design?
Question, would it be fiscally responsible to design a building using tax dollars to withstand an event that may never happen again and not be able to fully rebuild? Or use those dollars to rebuild exactly was was lost (at less cost than the alternative 100-500 year design spec) with the possibility it may happen…
not to mention I find it hard to believe it would be “seamless”.
How about the Kilpatrick convention center? Haha
Gotcha, so its intentionally trying and screw you.
But you pay down the interest more efficiently correct? Interest only builds on the principal every week instead of every month, and effectively you reduce your payment term, not just because you make more payments per year, but that you pay less in interest as well. So you have it backwards, 60 months becomes 55…
Its been working for Cadillac... (sarcasm)
Not sure what your point is here. Natural gas is more economical now due to government regulations and subsidies. Scrubbers etc. are due to regulation, “green credits” for natural gas (but none for nuclear BTW in most cases) are subsidies by the government which work in conjunction with the regulations. Its not that…
Product development issue as in not having the appropriate testing protocol to determine the appropriate specs?
Plastic coatings on interior components, can you color them in sharpie marker and release them to the customer? WIthout any sort of testing protocol, yea, sure, requirement of this piece being a color has been met. What will the quality be if there is not requirement for the part or coating? Think about it and tell…
So now the customer becomes the beta tester... There still needs to be a testing protocol to determine what components will meet the desired function.
Upstream in what way? How do you spec a component without testing to tell you what is required of it?
Likely due to their lack of procedures for testing and the fact that they just assume the technology they put into their vehicles was vetted by other companies since they are always late to the party.
My limestone Gray Golf R kind of looks like it has brownish hues in some light.
Agreed, it would be tough (probably impossible), but at this point cutting the line and giving up on Caddy would be an expensive proposition as well.
Agree/disagree. Like was said before, the Escalade has name brand recognition and makes big money, kill off the sedans under the Cadillac umbrella (ATS underpinnings go to Buick). Bring back some ancient coach building nameplate and release a luxo-barge with limited volume but high price (think Rolls pricing). …
Gotcha, still appears as though the problem arises shortly thereafter 100K from the forums and complaints I have read.
Good call. My mom had the first gen 2.0T in her audi A4, crankcase seal failed due to PCV failure. No more german cars for my parents.
