I bought a 2018 Honda Civic turbo after driving Ford F150 and Expedition for 30 years. I have a new job in Dallas 30 miles from my house and my kids are grown with their own cars now. So I wanted something economical, fast, and cheaper. I love the Honda. It can get 45 mpg driving 70 and under or I can speed into town

At this point in my life I don't need credit, I need cash. Nothing improves your credit score more that money in the bank and paying everything off. Then watch all the credit offers that come in. The banks hate it.

I bought a 2018 Civic turbo this year. Most of the dealerships have their "package" of accessories on the car. In this case $1700 of wheel locks, mud guards, and pin stripes. I was able to get them to drop that price, knock off $700 off the MSRP, and got Honda's 1.9% financincing. But they still talked me into $1600

I now keep my records on CarFax app. I usually change oil myself and use 10,000 mile Synthetic oil since I upgraded my family to 2014 and newer cars. I don't worry about saving all oil and filter receipts since I usually keep cars forever and they get 20,000 miles or more a year.
