As an atheist, I actually have a potentially strange explanation for this: determinism. Everything in the universe is already set in motion, and will play out in the way they’re going to play out. I think sometimes people are more attuned to or get flashes of how things will play out based on whatethey’ve seen and expe

It’s particularly silly because there’s no infection that one could only get from “close and repeated contact with cadavers”. (And if that were true, how did the girl get it - it has to be very transmissible since she got it from a kiss.)

Other people are noting how Disney has content for adults, but I’d also add that Netflix does compete in kids content. There’s a whole default kids profile, and they make Netflix original kids cartoons. The Magic School Bus reboot is theirs.

Did you dismiss my reply? It's showing up as pending now...

Except they did get away with it. What happened, they got told to stop? They knew exactly what would happen, which was at the worst, they got told off. Behavior like this, in part, continues because there are zero consequences.

Cool story, bro.

Fair enough. It was just a super weird response so it caught me off guard.

I’m trying to reread this nearly two year old thread to understand what you could possibly be responding to, and I still don’t get it. I see where I said men should care how their partners feel... Is that what you’re saying is me saying men should be lifelong butlers of women?? Or is there some other comment I’m

But isn’t that just an overall criticism of their model, not their vegetarian offerings? They have a limited set of choices versus some other burrito chains, but I would argue, they do their limited offerings well.

Tulsi is pretty one note about being a veteran. I feel like she tries to make every conversation about that. I have serious concerns about her past as a conservative and being anti gay rights. People can grow and change, sure, but I think we can do better.

I just don’t get the cognitive dissonance of it all. They can say criticizing this president is un-American, but criticizing the last one was patriotic? And you can say that, and they spout some bullshit about how it’s somehow different (but definitely not because of race... Of course not).

I don’t have the time at the moment to give your comment the detailed response that it deserves, but I will briefly respond that I'm not sure Harris has flip flopped on M4A. I think the trouble is that it’s a complex issue and she may not be for an immediate cutover, rather than a phased approach. That makes it tricky

Glad you got the reference :)

I hesitate to respond to you, because you clearly just now made an account to talk about how you love Bernie and hate Harris, but I’ll give it a shot in case you're genuinely interested in listening to my response.

You’re probably right about Biden’s support being soft. Here’s hoping his downward trend continues. We can do so much better.

I’m surprised Biden didn’t take more of a hit than that. His debate performance was terrible. I don’t think he can go up against trump. And in addition to defending his opposition to busing, he defended the NRA... And don’t you think he looks tired?

Well luckily she stands zero chance.

Two of them have no political experience - Williamson and Yang.

Ugh, that must have been a punch in the gut.

Warren can definitely do it. She’s fierce. Harris and Warren are my top two, not only because I align with their policies, not only because they have well developed plans that show they know their shit, but because both of them have the guts to really take on trump and beat him.
