I love all this. Do you know if these students are pushing any of these points past universal background checks (which I know they’ve mentioned)? Because I think better laws on training, securing, and “can’t buy” database all should be on the agenda.

1&2 are very good points that I hope they accomplish.

God yes. There are preachy assholes on both sides, seriously. And a lot of people act like my act of not eating meat is somehow equivalent to judging them for eating meat?

Has it occurred to you that maybe you know more vegans, but the only ones whose eating habits you know about are the ones that choose to scream about their eating habits?

Yes! Meatless Mondays are a great idea. I’m always surprised when I realize just how many Americans think you can’t have a meal without meat, even every once in a while.

Ugh, that’s awful. So instead of going after particularly unethical meat farming, they’re going after people attempting to use humane meat?? WTF is this bullshit.

The NRA’s ideas about what’s unconstitutional are absurd. In Massachusetts we’re required to have guns with a trigger lock or in a locked container at all times when not directly under the owner’s control. It’s a good, common sense law that should be a federal law.

I’m sure there was a redefinition at some point that changed what would and would not be classified as rape.

That’s because it doesn’t exist. This is just trolling with 100% falsehoods, sprinkled with a whiff of a source to try to get people to dive down a rabbithole to find “facts” that don’t exist.

I’m truly sick of the idea that “good business” (whether show or otherwise) means paying talent the absolute bare minimum to get them to agree to do the work. Maybe we should actually be valuing people for the work they do rather than trying to game the system to pay them as little as possible so the people on top can

Yeah, thank you. Toxic masculinity is definitely at play here. I don’t care if it seems “chivalrous”, a man responding to another man insulting a woman by saying he would beat him up is not helpful or something to be applauded.

Good point. Maybe if we were all just nicer to Osama bin Laden, everything would have been just fine.

He’s incredibly gross.

I believe so far they’ve been called Gen Z (or iGen?), but it’ll probably change. Same way I used to be Gen Y but now people try to call me a millenial... I still hold onto Gen Y though. Some people are acknowledging that there’s a difference between 80s babies and 90s babies and the former should get to keep calling

Huh. That last bit is weird, but I won’t hold it against him, especially without knowing the context.

Yes! Bulls-eye is the way to go, and I tend to think of it as fairly ubiquitous. Meanwhile I’ve never heard of Open Pit or Famous Dave’s. Must be a regional difference? Though I assume Pang is based out of NYC, and I’m in Mass, so I feel like it can’t be that different...

Most widely available... where? I’ve never heard of a few of these (Open Pit or Famous Dave’s) but my go-to, Bulls-Eye, is definitely one of the top brands and I’m surprised to not see it on the list. It even took the title when ATK did this same type of smackdown.

Ugh, I’m done. If you think she’s a bully then you’re really reaching to distort things to fit your narrative.

You said “Her admitted bullying of the shooter is okay though.” implying that it’s absurd for her to criticize anyone else when she was “bullying” the shooter. “Bullying” being synonymous to ostracizing to you. “Ostracizing” being a word she used to describe what others are saying they did to this kid (not her own

You are making an awful lot of assumptions based on a single word - a word she used because it’s being used by other people. I don’t know about you, but if someone is being frightening and threatening, I’m going to ostracize them too - and if it’s bad enough, report them to the authorities. Which these kids did.
