Thank you! I was actually pretty proud of myself for making it that far, even if by that point the baby was only getting one bottle a day of breast milk, the rest in formula.

Hold on, what is it that you think is only a problem for me now? Performing the tests on rodents? I was just noting that the government study was as well (it’s not only in the piece, it’s also in my comment that most of the studies have been in rodents), so I was just saying the way that article poses rodent testing…
Haha fair enough. I’m sure it’s an unpopular opinion around here. Like I said, I do still like him (not least for his Pence comments), I just wish he’d relax a little.
It’s not really a “bodily function” so much as it is feeding a child. We’re not talking about waste elimination here. I think we as a society need to be more supportive of the raising of children.
Aww you’ll get there really soon! Good luck!
From the piece you posted:
Heh, for the first few seconds I thought, “this happened again??” and quickly realized it was parodying the bbc dad from a year ago.
I think it made a lot of sense. It’s not her whole list of policies, but campaign ads rarely are anyway. The BPA story is there to showcase the idea that she feels like she can make a difference being an average mother wanting to make policies that are good for families.
I did it for three months and never got to that stage. It was always a struggle. Then again, that’s why I only did it for three months.
I like him, he’s obviously very cute and sweet, but does anyone else feel like he’s constantly sucking up to everyone around him? It’s like he’s trying too hard to be likable. It kept happening during Olympic interviews - he had to go out of his way to compliment every interviewer who was talking to him. It’s very…
Yeah, I remember this. I’m sure I had no issue with it when I was very young, but I actually remember the first time I watched it when I was old enough to think, “wait, this makes me uncomfortable.”
Maybe, but they had more of a geographic divide than we do now. Now there is a bit of an urban/rural divide but even then it’s not clear-cut. I think part of what makes this different is technology and the fact that people can connect with others on the internet who share their views, even if they’re minority views…
What I find to be an interesting thought is that if Trump is impeached for meddling in the election, really it’s still incredibly wrong for Pence to become the president in his place. He should not have won the election, and did so through illegal action. For the Republicans to keep the seat after that feels like a…
I love this comment so much I want to marry it.
Never gets old. This might be one of his funniest jokes he’s ever done.
But the issue is that that’s not really what drag is, outside of this show. It’s about fucking with gender expression, not exclusively performing the gender “opposite” one’s own. Yes, if the rules of the show are that only men are allowed to compete, trans women obviously don’t fit that rule. But why is that a rule?…
Drag has always been far more inclusive than it would seem from watching this show. Drag is about performing gender, not necessarily performing a gender that is “opposite” of one’s own. Way back in college, our LGBTQ group put on a drag show with the help of some local professionals, and there were cis women playing…
Not true. He also pouted about duty, for the job he had specifically sought out and fought to get. He was a whiny entitled brat, on top of being generally boring.
Christianity.
