My first read of your comment came off as “die in person”, and both versions seem equally a’ight.

The Draw system is the worst part of an otherwise excellent game. I just started playing the remaster, and my wife is a big fan of watching me play Final Fantasy games. She’s never seen FFVIII, so this is her first time experiencing the Draw system. When I explained it to her, my wife (who always defaults to magic

The three years without him in office have aged me like the eight years he spent in office aged him.

As the only male child in my family that was not born of any Mexican heritage (my mom had two sisters, and each of them married Mexican men), I was bestowed with the nickname of “guero.” When Beck released an album of the same name, I felt SEEN.

Wow...you are really a terrible garbage person. Fuck you, and double-fuck the means by which you slithered out of the greys with this victim-blaming shit.

How in the hell dinguses like you ever slither out of the greys is beyond me. You are a talking-point-spewing mouth-breather who contributes nothing to the discourse or society at large, and I take great glee in knowing that, in every conceivable way, I am better than you. Now do us all a favor and lose your burner

As a veteran (albeit an intelligent one), I concur so hard.

This blog reads like the greys became sentient.

Okay, but without the context of everything else leading up to that moment, how would anyone who hadn’t seen the film know that was from the end of the film?

This trailer is roughly 2% of the total film (assuming that every shot in the trailer appears in the film). If you TRULY believe that this (or any) trailer gives away the entirety of any film, why see ANY film?

You: “Enjoy things how you like. That’s fandom.”

I’m still paying off over $80,000.00 in student loan debt, but I’m also fortunate enough to be one of the people not eligible for the full $50,000.00. Even if I didn’t qualify for one dime of this, I would fully support it if it meant that anyone less fortunate than me got relief from this crisis.

As somebody who was practically born on skates and who has played the game for nearly all of my 40 years, I gotta agree. I didn’t always feel that way, but somewhere along the line the absurdity of the practice just hit me. (No pun intended.) I’ve spent my entire adult life playing in beer leagues, and all of them

Excellent! Thank you for the feedback!

Could you handicap the odds of someone like myself getting a pitch through? I’m not an established journalist, so I don’t have the bona fides that bestow instant credibility. However, I am a somewhat established writer. In this exercise, please assume that my pitch is on par with the ones you provided. Assuming that

No, I actually wouldn’t. As someone who moonlights as a writer, I get that mistakes happen. As I stated in my initial (and, in retrospect, possibly poorly-worded) comment, it happened three times, and that just...got to me.

I truly hope that I did no offense. I know that affect/effect trips up a lot of people. As I wrote it, I knew (or at least believed) that no matter how I worded it, I would come across as a dick.

Normally I wouldn’t be a pedant, but when I see the same grammatical error (your misuse of “effect”) three times in a relatively short blog, I feel obligated to step in. File this mnemonic device away: RAVEN.

Funny how no one rushed to the defense for Tamir Rice, or Trayvon Martin, or Michael Brown. No one was cautious about how they were portrayed in the media, or whether or not we’d gotten a “clearer picture.”

I’m pretty sure it was just the comment that killed him.
